Are you trying to lose weight in the wrong season? So many of us today are struggling with being overweight. It almost seems impossible at times to shed just a few pounds. What many people don’t realize is that there are better seasons than others to start the weight loss process.

So, did you know wintertime is the best time to lose weight? Why?

Because your body has to use much more energy/calories (used synonymously here) in cold weather than it does in warm weather to keep you warm, therefore, using upna lot more calories than in the warmer months. If you start a weight loss program in the colder months, you don’t have to focus as much on exercise to help shed those pounds because the weather is naturally doing it for you. Just look at hibe
ating animals, they use their stored fat during the winter months to take them into the spring.

So if you have the right diet plan that helps you lose weight fast without having to exercise during the weight loss process, add to that the bonus of your body naturally burning off extra calories during the winter months, you're going to lose some serious weight!

Now you may say, well, what about all the holidays to overcome? The average American gains anywhere from 8 to 10 pounds during the holiday season. But that doesn’t have to be the case. I have managed to stay within my target weight range withi

1 to 3 pounds during the holiday season. And believe me, I didn’t deprive myself from any of the holiday goodies. So how did I do it you might ask?

To help achieve your winter weight loss goals, I recommend you check out The Guardian Angel Diet weight loss program which focuses on your menu plan, not exercise to get you to your target weight. And once you’ve reached your target weight, the program will teach you how to maintain your weight for a lifetime.

I personally lost 60 pounds in 11 weeks on the program and have maintained my weight now for over six years. Now those are awesome results! And guess what? I started the diet November, skipped happily through the Christmas holidays, enjoyed all the foods I normally would, and by the end of the winter, just in time for Spring, I had reached more than my target weight!

So when trying to reach your weight loss goals, try to start in the winter months and you’ll have jump started the weight loss process.
