“There is a Reason Why We Struggle”
Most people are attached to their daily pleasures here on earth. But when we detach from those earthly pleasures we find bliss which can’t be found on this earthly plane.
Take for instance if we become thirsty while walking through the desert and need water badly. And them come across a spring full of fresh cool water, then all of a sudden we have great gratitude for the simple ability to drink water. Something that we take for granted most of the time. Yet only through the austerity of not having water do we have gratitude for water.
If a person is going to college for 4 years and all the while he’s struggling. When he finally graduates he has great gratitude about being able to hang his single and practice what he loves. But before that struggle there is no sense of gratitude.
A mother will go through great pain and suffering in order to bear a child. And many times a mother will cry out and wonder why they have to go through such an ordeal. Yet when the child is born they have great gratitude and the pain is left behind and forgotten.
And God puts us through struggles in order to make us stronger, so we grow in gratitude, and that we move towards enlightened. Most people don’t want to go through any kind of struggle. Some even become bitter and scor
God for having struggles in the first place. But grace can only be found when we open up and surrender to that one and only divine will. And thus we let go and accept what we have coming our way… no matter what it is.
If a person is not struggling in some fashion then they are not moving forward spiritually. It’s important to remember that there are polar opposites to everything. In order to have joy one has to experience sadness, in order to have peace one has to experience anxiety, and in order to find enlightenment one has to endure the struggles living life in the dark. Thus the light falls upon the firmament and our heart awakens.
Many Blessings to Everyone!
