There is No Perfect Time to Start

Where regular exercise, great nutrition and the goal of getting fit and losing weight are conce
ed, there really is no prefect time to start. I know that it is easy to get caught up into the day-to-day mindset, that you will start after this semester is over, or after things settle down at work, or after the kids are back in school, or when the weather is better… you know, when its warmer, cooler, hotter, less windy, less rainy, not so dark outside, etc…
There is never a perfect time to start and even if there were, before you know it, the weather WILL change again. It will become cooler, hotter, more or less windy, more or less rainy, more or less ‘perfect.’ The ‘time’ will change and we will ‘Spring forward’ or ‘Fall back’ and it will get darker and it will get lighter again.
None of these things are parameters over which we have any control. You do, however, have complete control over whether you adapt to these ‘imperfections’ of life and how you choose to react in spite of them. The ‘perfect’ time, if there is one, is today!
The pursuit of fitness and ‘your best you,’ is a life-long journey that has no end-date. One thing is for sure, the sooner you start the journey, the sooner you are likely to reach your goals:)
All the Best!
