Cloud IP PBX, i.e. widely known as Hosted IP PBX is also a type of cloud. In cloud computing, all the data including the software to retrieve that data lies on a remote server and you can access it only if you authenticate yourself by providing the correct username and password. After the user authentication your terminal device connects to the server and you are allowed to make calls. Similarly, in Hosted IP PBX, the remote server i.e. IP PBX with all your account data lies on the premises of your Hosted PBX provider. You can only use the remotely located server to make VOIP calls if you authenticate yourself. After authenticating your device, that can be a softphone, IP enabled hardphone or an analog device with ATA connected to it. In both the cases, you have unlimited freedom to use any terminal device you want; all you need is a high speed internet connection. So, in this way, the power of internet is effectively utilized to access your account and information on the IP network cloud.

Cloud computing and its applications have changed the business scenario in the way that we had only thought about in the recent past. These innovations not only consist of the way we communicate in corporate world, the way we manage our communication processes but also promises to deliver more in less cost.

Anyways, if you want to upgrade your phone system to Hosted IP PBX, you need to consider some aspects of your business and choose a system that suits you best so that it does not impact your business revenues in a negative way:

Firstly, you need to know that your new IP PBX system will give you a world class communication system with which you can leverage your communication system to have multiple calling attributes with high savings.

Does the Hosted IP PBX system actually suit you?
Lower usage cost and added attributes are not the only factors that decide whether Hosted IP PBX system can provide you higher savings. There is a lot more, based on which your decision should vary upon. VOIP calls are best for you when you work from numerous locations, when you have to make and receive calls from that location, or if you require multiple SIP extensions, so as to utilize the additional attributes that come along with your business phone system. If the case is not the same, then you should stick to your PSTN.
Will you have cost savings?
It is the second deciding factor that can influence your decision. You need to do a cost-value analysis of your business phone system so that you can maximize your benefits that the Hosted IP PBX can give you. If you save something, then only you should employ this system. The second decision is whether to own an On-Premise PBX or to have Hosted IP PBX? If you have less than 50 users then you should opt for Hosted PBX, otherwise you can get maximum profits only with an On-Premise IP PBX.
Thus, in order to get the boost you need, you should make a wise decision of your business phone system, whether a Hosted IP PBX, On-Premise IP PBX or Traditional analog phone system on the basis of each and every step. Anyways, choose a communication system so that you can communicate effectively with collaboration and according to your ease and convenience.
