Small things have a greater impact on our lives and mindset in contrast with big things. This rule applies to nearly all businesses including the hotel business, where every small gesture and service for the comfort of the guests is noticed. Whether you own a small hotel or a luxury resort, you have to do things that leave an everlasting positive impression on your guests. Whenever a guest plans a business or travel tour to a new destination they tend to take references from their family or friends. Thus publicity through word of mouth is the strongest part of the hotel industry. Small things like providing clean and fluffy pillows to providing necessary toiletries leaves a large impression in the guests’ mind, also the quality of service they receive is important. For the staff that is responsible for ordering and buying guest amenities and toiletries like ashtrays, bath kit, bed linens, etc should match the quality of the products with the budget set. Here quality should always be preferred over quantity, whichever products you provide should be of a standard or higher quality. You can shop through many online shops manufacturing and selling such toiletries and guest amenities for hotels and resorts. Do some research and compare the prices of online stores before choosing one. Look out for suppliers who provide product guarantee with minimum budget plan that is prevalent in the market. The purpose of staying in a hotel room for different guests can be different. Some stay for business meetings, some for vacation purposes, and few only for resting purposes to get fresh and so on. The duration of time spent in a hotel room whether it’s for a few hours or days is affected by the quality and number of guest amenities and ambience been provided. Right from the cleanliness of the bedsheets, to the hygiene of the room, to curtains been hung etc all have an effect on the guests overall staying experience. There are many online stores available from where hotel owners can shop for simple basic things to luxury items for guests at competitive rates. They can even order customized products if they have slightly higher budgets. Thus the smallest of blunder in providing complete satisfaction to the guest for the price they are paying for the room can ruin your hotel’s image forever. When you purchase such items in bulk from suppliers, you can then get some amount of discount. Take note that try to maintain the quality of certain basic things in a hotel room so that your hotel image is not ruined, great emphasis should be placed on customer service.
