There are many issues a third shift worker has to deal with. At night is when our bodies normally tell us that we need to shut down and rest. Many deal with health issues because of their lacking in sleep.. When working third shift you tend to sleep during the day and stay up all night. You body reacts to it and normally during the first few weeks of working third shift your body will fight you. In most occasions your body will do one of two things when you get off work. First of which will overcompensate by trying to make you sleep longer. The Second which occurs more often is that you sleep less. Lets face it. In today's society we have more activities in the day and we tend to sleep less because of it. It could be because of your children's events, or having to go to the gym. There are tons of reasons a person has to be up during the day that you wouldn't have to deal with at night. Eating right is hard because when everyone is having dinner you want breakfast. To compensate for this you need to eating right and healthy your body can stay active longer. If you are a person working third shift you will need that increase of energy if you by chance are working third your whole carrier.
