There are many these days who are moving into the “New Age of Consciousness”, using techniques such as meditation, affirmations, and visualizations to realize their dreams and live the lives they only once dreamed were possible. All these things are contributing to an ever-shifting mass consciousness, replacing the old world systems with enormous possibility. It's an exciting time to be on the planet, regardless of what the media wants us to believe.
It's time for us to stop 'saving the world' as we once knew it. After all, is the world we're trying to 'save' even worth saving? Do we really want to save a world that's filled with greed and manipulation and atrocities? Why would we even make such an attempt? Perhaps, instead, it's time for us to let it die. Let the 'good ol' boys' and their horrendous methods vanish in the mists of new life. Let the entire dynamic of patriarchy die along with the weapons those patriarchs devised. Just let that world go.
Fear will be replaced with love. Hatred will be replaced with love. Resentment will be replaced with...yep, you guessed it...LOVE. Because, it's my understanding that there are really only two emotions. Fear and love. That's it. Simple, huh? So, if it's that simple, why do we resist? Why do we cling to these old ideas? Why are we afraid to let the world crash? There can be no rebirth without death. We all know this. The seasons are the epitome of this truth. Mother knows that in order for there to be new growth, things must first die. But it's not really death at all, is it? It's simply a deep slumber. A resting period. A time for all things to lie still and replenish for the next season's rebirth. Such a beautifully simple course. But still...we resist.
In an effort to simplify even further, I was given a moment of acute clarity. Being the mischievous imp that I am, and taking most of my Life with a huge dose of humor, I realized that there are really only three bones we need to thrive. Yep. Just three.
A Wishbone
A Backbone
A Funnybone
Make a wish. See if clearly. Touch it. Smell it. Feel it. Experience it completely.
Stand your ground. Use that backbone to stand up to any and all naysayers. Don't argue your point. Don't try to convince. Simply stand up. Hold fast to your conviction. Trust, deep in your core that what you wish IS. And then....just get on with it. Laugh your way to the 'collection' of your wish. Know it's coming and feel the glee that always accompanies a wish come true. Just like a child. Remember? Remember what it was like to write your letter to Santa, wait in great anticipation for The Morning, and then find it under the tree? Remember how thrilling that was? THAT is the kind of conviction we must use. That true knowing that Santa always delivers. That utter tenacity of the child who won't take no for an answer. Remember?
Wishbone.
Backbone.
Funnybone.
That's all you need.
