Several years ago, I experienced something that I could not explain. I didn’t tell anyone about it, because as I did not understand it myself, I wouldn’t expect anyone else to either. Yet I knew it was real, as it had happened to me, so I didn’t want it to be casually brushed away by people who couldn’t comprehend the possibility of the impossible.nnJust recently, I came across a website on reality shifts, and saw a section on time shifts. I read an article on something that happened to a woman named Cynthia Sue Larson that was strikingly similar to what happened to me, and I was thrilled to know that someone else had experienced it and would understand. I decided to share my story here (and Cynthia graciously agreed to share hers as well).nnHere’s how it happened. My son was eight months old. I was gifted with a crib that I never used, as my baby slept with me every night. However, he viewed it as a playground of sorts, and liked to play in it occasionally. nnOne morning, I was sitting on the floor writing a postcard to a friend and my baby was playing in the crib, approximately three feet away from me. nnI was absorbed in my writing, so I don’t know exactly why I looked up in that instant, but in a split second, my son took a dive head first out of the crib, headed for the hard wood floor. Now, to be clear, when I looked up, he was already completely in the air, on his way down, nothing impeding his fall.nnHow in the world I had time to jump to his rescue in the time it took him to fall to the ground, I don’t know. It’s like it happened in slow motion - but really instantly.nnAs my son fell, head first, somehow time stretched to allow me to throw the pen, postcard and address book aside, throw myself forward, hold my hand out to catch his head, then not simultaneously, but afterwards, stretch forward my other hand to catch his body. nnIt was a miracle. Realistically, there was simply not enough time for all that happened in sequence. Because when I initially looked up, he was already on the other side of the crib, already upside down, already falling head first. Falling takes but a second when you’re already fully in the air with nothing to keep you up. Yet all that happened with my body took more than a second. nnNot a single part of my baby’s body touched the floor. His head landed in my hand at the precise instant that my hand arrived. Then his body gently fell into my other hand.nnHe cried, because he was scared, but thankfully, miraculously, not hurt. In my horrified (yet grateful) bewilderment, my mind flew to imagine what would have happened to his head on the hard wood floor if I hadn’t made it there in time.nnYou know that game you play where someone drops a pencil, and as it’s falling to the floor, you try to catch it? You know how hard that is, because it falls so quickly? Now imagine trying to catch that pencil after someone drops it, and you’re starting three feet away, with things to throw off your lap first. Impossible, right?nnFor some reason, time literally slowed down for us that morning. I don’t know how it happened, but I know that it did happen. Catching my son was a physical impossibility made possible by a shift in time.nnnTo read the second part of this article, featuring Cynthia Sue Larson's time shift story, you can download the issue of Kite for FREE or view Cynthia's story on her Reality Shifters website.nnThis article was originally published in Kite magazine - Issue # 4 (August 2007).

Eventually, another birth of twins, a male and female, were very important animals being born into our world. For they were the new species of Primates, the second, sudden mutation. While at the same time, another couple, rather mentally and physically inferior of the mid-mammal tribe, also gave birth to twins, a male and a female. These twins were indifferent to conquest; they were concerned only with obtaining food and, since they would not eat flesh, soon lost all interest

Early in the career of the dawn mammals, in the treetop abode of a superior pair of these agile creatures, twins were born one male and one female. Compared with their ancestors, they were really handsome little creatures. About one million years ago, the immediate ancestors of mankind made their appearance by three successive and sudden mutations stemming from early stock of the lemur type of placental mammal. These early lemurs involved in the ancestry of the human species were not directly related to the pre-existent tribes of gibbons and apes then living in Eurasia and northern Africa, whose offspring had survived to the present time. Neither were they the offspring of the modern type of le
