There are numerous tips to gain weight that you can commonly find in articles, magazines, and on television. However, not all tips are created equally and not all will give you the type of gains that are worth your time. Therefore, it is important to stick to the five most important tips for putting on weight that will yield you real results. The real key to succeeding with weight gain is being disciplined enough to continuously practice the tips that you read. Also, practicing just one may not give you the results that you are hoping to achieve. The combination though should produce massive results.
A Few Quick Tips to Gain Weight:
* Drinks Lots of Water
* Eat Right
* Take Mass Gainers
* Take Naps
* Get 9-10 Hours of Sleep at Night
Drinking lots of water is the most underrated of all tips to gain weight. Your body is primarily composed of water believe it or not. Therefore, in order for your body to generate more mass and expand in size it has to be supplied with lots of water. The most basic building blocks of the human body are protein and water. The biggest mistake people make when trying to gain weight is by only supplying the body with the protein component. Without the water component the protein component is much less effective.
Eating right is another crucial part of the weight gain process. If you want to gain serious weight you need to eat serious quantities of food. All food though is not created equally as you need foods that are high in protein. You want to avoid foods that are high in simple carbohydrates, low-quality fats, and preservatives. The best foods to eat for gaining weight are meats, nuts, and whole grains. Your body can easily convert these into new tissue with the help of water.
There are supplements that are specially made for just this purpose. Those supplements are referred to as mass gainers. Supplementing with these can give you the added boost to put you over that plateau or over the edge. By giving yourself this extra little boost you can smash out weight gains beyond your wildest dreams.
One of the best tips to gain weight that I never hear about is taking naps. Taking a nap that is over one hour can pay immense dividends towards your weight gain efforts. The reason is because when you take a nap human growth hormone is released after one hour of sleep. Needless to say you get this release every night when you go to sleep. Taking naps though can give you a literal double shot of this human growth hormone and can thrust your body into producing huge amounts of muscle mass. Muscle mass weighs more than fat and can essentially speed your efforts up much faster with its addition.
As mentioned when you go to sleep your body releases a large shot of human growth hormone after one hour. However, your body also needs sleep in order to have time to repair itself. Sleep is crucial in allowing your body to recover from all the steps that you take to expand its size. Without sleep none of these tips to gain weight will yield great results.
