There are many exercises that are specifically designed to make you grow taller.
First among the exercises to increase your height is yoga. These exercises are excellent and will assist you in your efforts in growing taller. Yoga is known to benefit people who want to grow taller because of the type of stretches and movements you practice.
One amazing yoga exercise you should incorporate in your program is called the tadasana. The major benefits you will get form this exercise is improved posture, stronger thighs, and it also helps your back. Focusing on your posture and back is key when it comes to growing taller.
To do this exercise stand with your feet together. Make your arms hang down the side of your body with your palms facing out.
Tighten your quads and draw them upward causing your knee caps to rise, and tone your belly drawing it slightly in.
Now raise the crown of your head towards the ceiling and lower your shoulder blades. Hold for 1 minute. Repeat this stretch 10 times.
Again this exercise helps to improve your posture and back, which are key factors in growing taller. You could do all the exercises in the world and you will see little to no height if you have bad posture.
Did you know you could actually lose height over a certain period of time with bad posture? Look at somebody with a hunchback and you will know what I'm talking about.
As you start your exercises you must remember to start out slow and don't over work yourself.
Exercise combined with the proper diet will produce amazing results. Your diet must consist of proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Calcium is another key element in growing taller. Calcium strengthens the bones and also promotes growth.
By eating dark leafy veggies, cheese, yogurt, and many other calcium rich foods you will be on your way to a healthier self-image because you will be standing taller! Remember anyone could increase their height by uniting the proper diet with the proper stretching exercises!
