However in reality half of the cases of infertility are due to male factor. If you are unable to get pregnant after a year of unprotected intercourse, it means you are infertile and need to take immediate action for this inability. About 1 in every 7 couple today suffers from the trauma of infertility and takes longer than a year to get pregnant. So what can you do to maintain your fertility? Well there are many ways by which you can enhance and maintain your fertility such as fertility diet can be very useful in this respect. For this you don’t need to memorize some strange recipe and other information. Here are some important ingredients that should consider or add in your diet. Firstly avoid Trans- fat food items as they can deter ovulation and conception or may have negative effect on fertility. These are commonly presents in fried and processed foods. So avoid them and add natural food items rich in nutrients, folic acid and antioxidants. Prefer plant protein than animal one. According to the recent study it has been detected that the women who hate the animal protein have more likely to have fertility issues in comparison to those who are dependent on plant proteins. Before planning to conceive, contact your Gynecologist or schedule an appointment with him because it is good to ensure that you are going down the right path. He can teach you about your cycle, how it works and makes you familiar with your chances of conceiving. You should take some time for yourself as well. Start tracking your cycle to predict most of your fertile which is somewhere between 7 to 20 days. Of course maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the utmost important when you are going to conceive. It’s a fact that first few pregnancy weeks are very critical and sometimes may occur before you even realize that you are pregnant. So it’s good to avoid alcohol, tobacco and drugs that may harm developing baby. Caffeine also reduces the body’s ability to conceive. According to the expert, 4 cups of coffee in a day cuts 26% of conception chances. You can do exercise that makes you stress relief and can also search for fertility yoga programs that are especially designed to help couples who are trying to conceive.
