Trust me, I know how bad it feels to be dumped. It feels like you are getting hit by a bucket of cold water. You suddenly find yourself lost and uncertain about everything--especially if the two of you where together for a while. It can feel like you've lost all your will to live. This is why I want to help you with getting your ex back.
However, before we get into that, I want you to examine your relationship. You may be a better person without the relationship. It might require some time to figure this out. But from here on out, I'm going to assume that you've decided that things would be better with your ex. Do not try to fix an unhealthy relationship.
Okay. Now let's explore how to get your ex back.
First, take a step back and try to pin-point the issue with the relationship. What caused the breakup in the first place? It's very typical for people to hide the real reason behind something petty. Set aside the time to really examine things and learn where the mistakes happened.
Next, give your ex a little breathing room. This will be a very hard and difficult thing to do. You feel that you need to move quickly to repair your relationship with your ex. Giving him space will seem like torture. But you have to do this if you want any chance of getting your partner back. Let your partner have the chance to miss you for a bit. Fight back every impulse you have to call, e-mail, or text him if you can. Let me say this again, don't call your ex. Wait for your ex to reach out and call you. It might take some time. Your partner will eventually contact you.
Spend some time on yourself and becoming a better person. Your partner will be much more attracted to a fun and optimistic person. So improve yourself and learn to rid yourself of negative thinking.
Don't neglect the importance of spending time with your friends and family. These people will prevent you from feeling lonely and depressed. Just try to have some fun and take your mind off your relationship. You'll find that your friends have a way of making you feel so much better.
Do these things to keep yourself feeling upbeat while you are waiting for your partner to reach out to you. Take your mind off of him and try to find happiness on your own. Eventually he will call you and from there you can start to rebuild your relationship.
