You have built a wall around you…

And you think it makes you safe…

No one sees this wall of yours but they feel its power to repel them…

They can only get so close to you…

And most of the time, you like it this way because it seems that people bring hurt into your life…

This wall is one of fear, pain, disappointment and you remain alone behind it.

People look at you and think you have it all together but you?

You know you don’t!

But you are strong enough to keep showing up doing the half-life thing you do…

You think that no one feels things the way you do…

You think that you are alone and no one understands what is happening with you…

You wonder if there will ever be release from this pain, this creeping disillusionment with life, with people…

With yourself…

And that is the crux of it…

The reason you seek to hide away and be ‘normlike’ is because you doubt yourself.

You have had all the promises, all the assurances from your higher power, from your internal wisdom about the life you are born to live but it is not happening.

It feels as though you take ten steps back for every step forward.

And you feel further away now than you were at the start and yet, there remains a little hope within you.

A hope that continues to flicker and so you keep hoping for more.

But hope is not enough because the wall is getting taller around you. You are hiding yourself within it because you think it is safer here, hidden behind the smiles that do not reach your heart,

And the tension continues to build…

And every time you try to lower your defenses, your barriers, it feels like something, someone tries to take a shot at you and so you raise those barriers again.

But you do not see that you are again getting what you expect.

You hear the slur against you when there is no slur.

You are so defensive that nothing anyone says to you is heard as love and kindness. You are looking for a reason to mistrust everyone, to stay hidden, to be safe and protected behind your wall.

Will you let me shine a light on you?

You long for clarity and yet, you run from clarity! Scared of what you might see…

Scared that you are not loveable in your real state…

And yet, it is your real state that is powerful and limitless and right now, you are placing the roadblocks on yourself.

Hiding away from life.

Hiding away from the real work you feel called to do - It seems impractical and impossible.

And so you do mediocre work that brings you a mesure of success but it drains you…

And the wall remains in place.

Honey, everything you want, everything you desire, EVERYTHING YOU ARE BORN TO EXPERIENCE is on the other side of your wall.

And you only get it by daring to break down the walls you have built.

You can get a mediocre success and you might tell yourself to be happy with that but somehow you sense that you are settling for much less than what you are born for and capable of…

And so you make a choice between the imagined disappointment of breaking down your wall and finding yourself unprotected or the more controlled disappointment that comes from staying firmly behind this wall of your own design…

Better the devil you know, right?

WRONG!

Leader, you must heal!

Action plus clarity creates wealth and fulfilment.
