Islam is the most practiced religion in the world. Muslims are present in almost every region of the world and practicing its teachings but they face some of the problems while practicing its teachings and one of them is Zakat issue. It is the most common asked question by the Muslims nowadays that to whom zakat should be given? Or who is the actual right person to give the zakat? Or that is zakat can be given other than the month of Ramadan! So today I came here to give them the best answer that to whom the zakat be given. About the giving of Zakat to the right person or whom zakat should be given in Quran Allah says as follow, “Indeed zakat offerings are only to the poor and the needy, and to those work on it, and to those who hearts are to be submissive and to those in slavery, and to debt-ridden and for the cause of God and to the wayfarer. An obligation from Allah and Allah knows all.” Not only Allah says to whom zakat should be given but also the last Prophet (P.B.U.H) also describe a person to whom zakat should be given is as follow, “Allah permitted not even a prophet to adjudge zakat rather, he himself ruled on it and permitted it in eight cases. Therefore, if you belong to any of these I shall most surely give you your right.” The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) further clarifies the saying of Allah in Quran and mention eight types of people to whom Zakat should be given are as follow, To whom you can give Zakat: The month of Ramadan is coming and you all have to pay the zakat! So to whom you should give Zakat they are as follow, • The poor who have low income. • The needy who is suffering from much harder time. • Zakat Administration who works for the welfare of the people. • Those who are new converted into Muslims. Your friend or relatives. • Who can’t pay their loan back? • In the cause of Allah. • To those who are can’t walk, see, or can’t do work. • Who are in slavery. Must give Zakat to the above peoples near you and get the blessing of Allah Almighty and get benefits of payment of Zakat. It is the interest of the people to spend the month of Ramadan in the house of Allah. Do fasting, offer Namaz, pay zakat and perform Umrah. As Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to that of Hajj in the state of Ihram. Now going to Umrah is much easier because Umrah visa online price is very low and visa can easily get.
