Tobacco Cigarette Smoking Consequences and Ways to Quit

Studies show that 35% of all cancer cases have to do with tobacco. Every year millions of people die in the world as a result of tobacco cigarette use only. These diseases include Lung cancer, Cancer of nasal cavities, mouth, throat, pancreas, bladder, cervix, etc.
Most people make this excuse that they consume tobacco very little. There is no such thing as a limited or little "and therefore harmless" number of cigarettes. Every smoked cigarette sends thousands of toxic chemical particles to your blood. So, if you smoke 2 cigarettes daily then still you are in extreme danger.

Some common consequences of active smoking:

1. Lung diseases

Smoking is considered the main reason for lung cancer and COPD. Smoking badly affects our lungs and creates difficulty in the breathing process. Smokers suffer more from asthma-related complications.

2. Bones

The bones become weaker and can be break easier.

3. Cardiovascular disorders

The substances from cigarette smoke have a harmful effect on the heart and blood vessels. For example, there is an increased chance of getting blood clots, strokes, arrhythmias, etc.

4. Fertility Consequences

Problems in getting pregnant due to lower quality and quantity of sperm, erection problems, higher risk of miscarriage, premature babies, earlier menopause, etc, all are the major consequences of active smoking on fertility.

5. Oral diseasesr
Smoking can lead to oral cancer (esophagus, larynx, oral cavity), gum disease, etc.

6. Immune system

Active smoking develops less resistance in our body and weakens our immune system, which then increases the chance of getting sick.

7. Smoker ages faster

If you want to live a healthy and long life then don’t smoke. Smoking is the main reason behind fast aging. It damages your skin and lets the viruses enter your body which makes your skin looks aged.

It is a very much simple concept when it comes to quitting anything. Take a notice that what are you getting against your doings and if it is profitable then keep it otherwise leave it.

2. Set a date to quit smoking

If you are lazy in choosing a date to quit smoking then you will never be going to make it believe it or not though it is human nature that resists him in making any decision. So, choose a date on which you will stop smoking. Make it available by hanging on your walls so you can easily and daily see it. And when you see it daily then it will sit in your mind and will become a resolution.

3. Throw away everything that has to do with smoking

When you are ready to quit smoking, throw away everything that reminds you of smoking. But then really everything: cigarette butts, matches, lighters, ashtrays, rolling papers, even the cigarette packs, and lighters in your car have to clear the field. Get rid of it! Make sure that you can be tempted as little as possible.
