Choosing from the top 10 best dog foods does not have to be difficult. Most dog owners seem to make this task a hard thing to do. Well the good news is, it' not that hard at all. You don't have to be one of those dog owners. If you let yourself become overwhelmed by the huge amount of manufacturer's, all of the extensive varieties, all of the claims made as to what and who is the best, relax. Some dog owners also get wrapped up in what their dog will eat and what he won't eat. Usually, the owner will let this be a determining factor as to what to feed their dog. They say their dog is a picky eater, so to make the owner's life easier, they feed him what he seems to enjoy and will eat. Is this a good practice? Absolutely not. Thereby, creating health symptoms in your dog, and thus increasing your vet bills. And believe me, it is not just a wash out. In fact, the latter will far exceed the cost of the cheaper dog food. Following this course of action, is definitely not what you might call increasing the wellness of the dog. The counterpart to this is to see to it, that your best friend receives a well balanced diet, which has been scientifically balanced to their age, size and breed. Your dog may also have other significant issues that you need to address, such as a sensitive stomach, allergies to certain ingredients, an overwieght problem, and the like. Good question, some ratings are good and unbiased, while others are somewhat skewed and influenced. And some, are just way out in left field. But I think this kind of claims lend themselves more to popularity that gospel. Again, I am not saying that the review or statistics are not correct, but there is much more that you need to take into consideration when selecting your dog food. Innova Evo-A high quality, grain free, high protein content dog food. They boost their food by adding rich vitamins, good bacteria, omega 6 fatty acids, omega 3 to aid in your dog's digestion and absorbtion of the mineral nutrients. Solid Gold-They claim to be preservative free. They also provide a hypoallergenic food which is great for dogs with sensitive stomachs. It is their Sun Dancer gluten free product. Merrick-Merrick is considered to be a well respected manufacture. They claim to use the best quality ingredients, kicking it up to what they call human grade. It is free of preseratives, additives, artificial coloring, or homornes. Natural Balance-Not really to sure about this product personally. It was created by the actor Dick Van Patten. This makes me somewhat suspect as to the success. Is it because of what they really manufacturer or the stardom behing it's creation. In any event, it is preservative free, and make use of many real meat meal, and lots of natural brown rices, fruits, vegetables and even oatmeal. It all sounds good doesn't it, and it just may be, but, as I said earlier, your dog's own preferances and needs, age, weight, allergies, breed but most importantly of all; the ingredients used.
