- Amla: Amla is known as gooseberry and is considered to be a superfood by Ayurveda. It is one of the best sources of vitami C. It also contains phyllembic compounds, quercetin, tannins, Gallic acid, pectin, flavonoids, and many polyphenolic compounds. This is why it has strong rejuvenating properties. Scientific research has also proven the efficacy of amla in killing and preventing the growth of cancer cells without causing harm to healthy cells.
- Garlic: Garlic is known for its many medicinal properties. It contains arginine, sulfur selenium and flavonoids. When the bulb is chopped or crushed the bioactive compounds of garlic are formed.
