Do you eat any of these foods even though you are trying to lose weight? Even if you consume them "every now and then" they could still be causing you to struggle with your weight loss. This list below is only a few examples of some of the worst foods you should be removing from your diet.

Work on removing these foods from your diet and you will be losing weight fast in no time. Don't take for granted that it is ok to eat these foods every now and then. If your goal is to lose weight fast then you need to focus on the task at hand.

You can work on incorporating a few of these foods into your eating plan every now and then at a later time. For now if quick weight loss is your goal then you have to focus and that means removing as many of the sabotaging foods as you can during this weight loss process.

1. French Fries

Due to the high saturated fat content that result from frying the cut potatoes in vegetable oil.

2. Donuts

Doughnuts are fried, full of sugar and white flour and most all varieties contain trans fat. Store-bought doughnuts are made up of about 35 percent to 40 percent trans fat. An average doughnut will give you about 200 to 300 calories, mostly from sugar, and few other nutrients

3. Soda

One can of soda has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, 150 calories, 30 to 55 mg of caffeine, and is loaded with artificial food color. The average American drinks an estimated 56 gallons of soft drinks each year.

4. Bacon and Hot Dogs or all cured meats that contai
Nitrates.

Many foods, especially cured meats such as bacon and hot dogs, use nitrates to preserve color and maintain microbial safety. Nitrate is harmless, but it can convert to nitrite, which can form nitrosamines, a powerful cancer-causing chemical, in your body.

5. Potato Chips

They are high in fat, high in sodium and add useless calories to your diet. A small bag of chips can contain 200 calories and higher per serving.

6. White Bread

White breads have been stripped of their nutritional value. White bread is equivalent to table sugar because of heavy processing: it has a very high glycemic index close to glucose. Instead choose whole grain breads that provides vitamins and minerals along with complex carbohydrates and fiber.

7. Table sugar

You should refrain from the table sugar you use to sweeten your morning coffee, but all candy, chocolate, soda and other sweets included. Table sugar, which is actually a 50/50 mix of fructose and glucose, has zero nutritional value and just a bunch of empty calories which will increase your blood glucose levels and force the body to release large amounts of insulin.

To reiterate these foods are only a few of the bad foods you should be removing from your weight loss diet. Remember to lose weight fast you need to focus and that means eating as healthy as you can during the weight loss process. You can consider a few "every now and then" foods once you have lost the weight. Until then stay focused.
