There are endless gorgeous beaches within a short drive of Los Angeles county. A great beach to visit is Long Beach, where there are also plenty of attractions to see while in the town. Long Beach has a great aquarium to visit as well. Visiting the beach is one of the highlights of things to do in LA! Also, while in Long Beach, you might want to go on a whale watching tour. Art is a huge part of things to do in LA, if you are an art or architecture lover, then you are in for a huge treat! Take a visit to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Depending on what time of year plan things to do in LA, you can always check out the Los Angeles Art Walk or Art Festival, which always get great reviews. When planning events and things to do in LA, consider attending a sporting event! LA fans are very passionate about their sports. The Los Angeles Lakers are huge in Southern California.
