CLAT (Common Law Entrance Test):
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a non- statutory body created under the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the purpose of selecting eligible candidates across the country for various LAW universities. This examination basically provides list of students based on the “merit cum preference” to various LAW universities and other prominent universities for their admission in various UG/ PG programmes.as per certain criteria laid down by the participant universities.
AILET (All India Law Entrance Test):
AILET stands for All India Law Entrance Test conducted by the National Law University (NLU) on an annual basis. It is a national examination which shortlists candidates for LAW colleges of good repute. This examination selects candidates for admissions in LAW such as BA LLB (Hons.) LLM and PhD courses.
LSAT (Law School Admission Test):
LSAT is a test (standardized test) which is conducted to test the reading and verbal skills of a candidate. It is conducted 4 times every year and is specifically meant for LLB and LLM admissions. The scores of LSAT are accepted by institutes of good repute like Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur Law School, Galgotia University Law School, The Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun, Amity Law School etc.
SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test):
Symbiosis entrance test SET 2016 is a common and prominent written entrance test organized every year on national grounds by the Symbiosis University. This test is intended to shortlist candidates for admission in various UG programmes in the institutes of Symbiosis International University which has 300 seats for integrated LLB 5 year) admissions and 60 vacant seats for admission of LAW for 3 years.
MH CET
MH CET is a common entrance test conducted by the government of Maharashtra. This examination is intended to recruit candidates for undergraduate programmes in various government colleges.
DULET (Delhi University Law Entrance Test):
Delhi University Law Entrance Test or (DULET) is a national level test conducted by the Delhi University for recruiting students for admissions to various law programmes sponsored by the Faculty of Law Department of Delhi University for Post Graduate admissions to LLB and LLM.
Aligarh Muslim University Law Entrance Examination):
Aligarh Muslim University Law Entrance Examination is a national level LAW examination conducted by the reputed ‘Aligarh Muslim University’ for shortlisting students for admissions into courses of B.A. LLB.
BHU LAT or BLAT (Banaras Hindu University Law Entrance Test)
BLAT or BHU LAT is a national level LAW entrance examination conducted by the one of the most prestigious institutions of India i.e. Banaras Hindu University. It is meant for admissions into integrated law programmes (five year).
Christ University LAW exams: This examination is conducted by the Christ University (SLCU) to short list candidates for a five-year integrated law program, the successful completion of which will earn the student a B.A., LL.B. degree (Honours) to be awarded by Christ University.
