The New Year will surly be the year of the “mobile takeover.” As more and more consumers take the leap into the smartphone world and begin to search using the small screen, companies have been scrambling to optimize web pages and creating texting campaigns to compensate. The payments may often change, so it’s great to have it all right in front of you whenever you want through the PayPal application. 2. BillTracker – This app is all about paying the bills. Owning a business often comes with a lot of bills, and for many this can get confusing. This app allows a business owner to keep track of everything in a calendar layout so he/she can look ahead and plan bill paying out accordingly. The best part about this app is the fact that it allows you to schedule bills that occur each month. This is a great feature on a desktop, but you are not always at your desktop right when the announcement comes in. If you have the app on your phone, you will know right away if you have a bill that needs paying. 3. Invoice2go – Sending out invoices is obviously important to every business, and in today’s world the invoices seem to only multiply. With all of the outsourcing and telecommuting that is going on thanks to the improvements in Internet communication, invoicing has become more prevalent. An Invoice2go app allows you to create up to three invoices at once as well as remind you when an invoice has been sent your way. 4. Mint – I use this service for my personal finances, but it will work just as well for small businesses. It is a pretty straightforward application because it just manages cash flow and budget. The greatest thing about the app is that it can deliver the information graphically. This makes it easy to evaluate your finances on the go. For those who like to have tabs on their finances at all times this is the app to make it happen. You can never be too in-the-know when it comes to the finances of a business. It can become very confusing and overwhelming if you have a lot going on, so mobile apps can help. You will feel more comfortable knowing that you are in control no matter where you are, and you’ll have an excuse to get out of the office and stretch just a little bit more often.
