Dharamshala

Dharamashala is located at the base of Dhauladhar. Dharamshala has picturesque snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, elaborated tea gardens and beautiful hills. Dharamshala has gained reputation as it is the residence of the great saint ‘Dalai Lama’. The two parts of Dharamshala are Lower Dharamshala with Courts and Kotwali Bazar, and Upper Dharamshala comprised of places like Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj.

Mcleod Ganj

Mcleod Ganj is located in the city of Dharamshala, Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. The city was named after David Mcleod Ganj a former governor of Punjab. Mcleod Ganj is also known as ‘Upper Dharamshala’. It is perched at an altitude of 2,082 m above sea level. It is strategically situated betwee
Kangra and Nagrota. Mcleod Ganj is also close to the well known city of Pathankot. The local
population is a mixture of Hindu and Muslims.

Kasauli

Kasauli is situated in the Solan District of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at an elevation of 1,930 m above sea level. Kasauli is a cantonment town. This hill station is gorgeous in natural beauty. The well know
Monkey Point is beside the Ashram of Satya Sai Baba at Garkhal. Kasauli is very famous among the bird watchers. The well kept town has a Pasteur Institute that produces vaccine against dog bites.

Mandi

This destination is based in the foothills of Shivalik range on the left bank of the Beas River. It is believed that the place acquired its name due to the traders from Ladakh and other areas while passing while going to and fro from Punjab. The town boasts of historical and mythological inheritance, and follows a rich heritage of culture. Mandi has a collection of 85 carved temples, the famous of them are Trailokinath, Bhutnath, Panchvaktra and Shyama Kali at the Tarna Hill. Mandi also celebrates fares and Shivratri Mela grandiously.

Manali

Manali is a very beautiful destination situated near Kullu Valley. Manali is year rounded magnet destination for tourists. Manali is known for getting snowfalls even in summer days so it’s the first choice for the India honeymoon couples and families. Manali is also paradise for adventure tourists to enjoy trekking, paragliding, rafting and skiing. The most enchanting places to visit in Manali are Hadimba Devi, Manu Temple and Market, Manikaran Gurudwara, Jogini Waterfall, Vashist Hot Water Spring etc.

Kullu

Kullu is a very naturally blessed place based on the banks of Beas River about 220 km far from capital city. Kullu is counted among the favorite summer destinations of India. It is encircled by magnificent peaks and mountains. The terrain is green with pine and Deodar trees and Apple Orchards. Kullu is known for its revered Hindu Temples like Raghunath Temple, Maha Devi Tirth Temple, Bijli Mahadev and Shringi Rishi Temple etc. The Beas River in Kullu is a geat spot for Fishing and adventure sports like White River Rafting.

Shimla

This is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is probably the most visited hill station of India. The town received its name from Goddess Shyamala, an incarnation of ma Kali. Shimla is also famously known as the honeymooner’s paradise. The city is a bit urbanized compared to other towns of Himachal. The modernization has not destroyed the natural essence of this peaceful place. Shimla brings out the inner peace of any visitor. The serene air, tranquil atmosphere helps you unwind through the vacation. Finding accommodation facilities is not a problem, as luxury treatment is found in affordable rates. .
