If you’re looking to get six pack abs, there are some important mistakes that you should be aware of. Many people go about this goal using the wrong processes which only leads to them becoming very frustrated. Getting six pack abs isn’t the easiest thing you’ll ever do – that’s for sure, but it’s not impossible either. By following the right principles and working hard, you too can get six pack abs. Here are the top six pack ab tips you should know about. The more of these you can incorporate into your life the better. nnFocus On Heavy Lifting The first thing that’s going to be most critical for getting results with your fat loss diet is focusing on lifting heavy. Ideally you want to be pushing your body hard enough that you’re fatiguing within 8-10 reps. If you’re lifting to 10 reps, you’re not pushing hard enough and aren’t going to see the results you’re looking for. Many individuals think that the key to getting six pack abs is endurance lifting, but this is not the case. nnDon’t Cut All Carbs Out Off Your Fat Loss Diet The second thing you should be doing on your six pack abs program is including some carbs – yes, you read that right. Many people think they should go on a no-carb diet when trying to shed abdominal fat. The smarter thing to do is just focus your carbohydrates right around the workout period since this is when your body will need them the most. Ideally you should have between 25-50 grams of carbohydrates both before and after your workout. The rest of the carbohydrates during the day should come from vegetable sources for the most part with a small amount of fruits added in as well. nnRemember To Rest Next up in getting closer to your goal of getting a six pack is making sure you are taking the time to rest. If you aren’t resting enough, you’re not only going to have a harder time getting in your workouts, but you will also likely see hunger levels creeping up, making it harder to stick with your fat loss diet. Further, when you are working out too frequently the body may actually start to conserve calories for fuel, slowing down the weight loss process. nnUse High Intensity Cardio Methods Finally, the last thing you should do is make sure you implement high intensity forms of cardio. These are going to boost the metabolism the highest, causing you to burn more calories 24 hours a day. Ideally you should go for thirty seconds to one minute hard coupled with a rest of twice that amount of time. So keep these factors in mind as you go about your goal to getting a six pack. If you train and eat in the correct manner, you’re going to see far better and faster results.
