Delhi City has various historical monuments proudly representing the golden era. The history of these monuments is so intense that it amazes the travelers. Dedicated to lord Krishna this temple houses deities like Radha Krishna, Ram-Sita-Laxman, HanumaISKON-Temple-in-New-Delhin and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. rnBirla Mandir - Birla mandir is in the Cannaught Place area and is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Built bBirla-Mandir-in-New-delhiy the eminent Birla family in the year 1938, this artistically designed templewas inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. Built in Nagara style of architecture, the influence of the contemporary designs is evidently seen, the exterior of the temple is decorated with white marbles and red sandstone dominated by tall curved towers. rnAkshardham Temple – Built in the year 2005, Akshardham is one of the recently constructed New Delhi Temples that have been listed Akshardham-New Delh in the World – Guinness World Record Committee as the Largest Hindu Temple Complex. Travel to The Taj Mahal - It is Situated at a distance of 4 km from Qutab Minar, the Chattarpur Mandir is a fine example of flamboyant and rich temples. The main temple is built in south Indian form of architecture and is devoted to goddess Durga. The campus of the temple is spread over a large area and during the Durga Puja days one can see long queues of devotees especially the local Hindus. rnKalkaji Temple - Its Temple is situated beyond the commercial complex of Nehru Place in Delhi. This domed twelve-sided temple is devoted to Goddess Kalka Devi. The oldest section of the Kalka Ji Mandir of New Delhi dates back to the year 1764-1771, when the Marathas were in power.Some renovation and additions were carried out in the mid-19th century.rnReligion is also one of the oldest things in the world.
