What ever your business is you will surly get a place in the world of online market. Designing site The key process of online shopping is designing your site accordingly. It is the same case with any other online venture. Design your site in such a way that customers exactly find what they are looking for without much effort. When your customers wander around forlorn virtual aisles of your e-store will make them leave your shopping cart and they will visit your competitor. So design your site such a way that your customers are comfortable and can easily find the products they want to buy. Keep the clicks that are required to its minimum. If your customer visiting your site have to click a lot to get it product he wants, your will have real serious problem to face. Suppose a customer visit your site first click would be to search through the various categories, next will be to lead them to category description, and then the sub-category, and the process goes on. It is an endless process and very frustrating. So make it simple for the customers, reduce the clicks they have to do while the process of buying. The obvious things that your site must have are add to cart or buy button. This is the first rule of any website design. Customers visiting your site should know that what they are supposed to do and not at any place it is truer than in online shopping. You should not make your customer to scroll down to find the right button to click to purchase their desired item from you. Always display the original price of the product displayed on your site. This may seem to you as like an obvious thing. But many retailers make their potential customers click more then once to look at the original price. This may lead losing your potential customer. Security The most important factor while designing an ecommerce site is how much it is secure. You must use all the necessary and most important security protocols while scripting and designing your ecommerce site. Design your site such a way that there is no threat of losing your products without the proper payment from the customers, and secondly be aware of the identity theft and money frauds online.
