If you are really determined to manage your weight, I know you are willing to do anything to make it happen. Dieting alone will not do it, exercising alone will not do it; seeking the truth about the relationship you have with your body, with food, and with the messages you have heard from your culture, will kick start the healing process. You must be willing to face the cause of your dissatisfaction and the negative thoughts that are holding you from obtaining The Ideal You. Once you zero in on the pacts you have made, that have brought you to have an unsatisfying relationship with your body , you have to become willing to let them go. One way is to give them to away; you can offere them to your Higher Power, the Universe; you can write them down and burn them. It doesn't really matter what exact mean you use as long as you are willing to be rid of them forever. Give up control, let go of the belief that you can simply change yourself, let your Higher Power take control of your life and all will be harmonious! Most of our beliefs reside in our unconscious, through hypnosis and self-hypnosis we can reach our deep rooted beliefs and eradicate them effortlessly, joyfully and permanently. Changing Behavior Once ingrained in our childhood, most behavior becomes largely automatic; we experience a stimulus or trigger and react without conscious thought. That is why trying to change behavior, emotions or improve physical performance self-will often fails. It has nothing to do with our intentions, or our commitment to the change; our minds just don’t work that way. We need to uncover the roots of the behavior, discover how and when they trigger us in our conscious living, heal and rebirth a new behavior now rooted in self-love and self-acceptance. Hypnosis Can Help Hypnosis can help greatly change the message you give to your brain about food and nourishment. Once your uncoscous is enlisted and has learned to let go of all that you are holding on to, you will begin dieting from all negative thoughts and feeding only on positive ones. It is said that our limbic system in our brain cannot distinguish between the past, the present or the future, and that any message that is given to our subconscious mind for a minimum of 30 days will eventually become a reality in our consciousness. How Helpful is Hypnosis? Hypnosis is an ancient form of healing dating back to the times of ancient India and Egypt. Hypnosis is still widely used in modern China instead of anesthesia for many surgical procedures. “Hypnosis is helpful to anyone who is going into medical treatment, because it helps the person to stay relaxed and de-stressed,” says Joanne Marrow, PhD., professor emeritus at Cal State Sacramento. The common side effects of therapeutic hypnosis are: improved self-image and confidence, and a profound sense of achievement and empowerment. How Does It Work?nn[Hypnotherapy or]Trance, according to [Milton] Erickson*, brings the subject into a state in which learning and openness to change are most likely to occur. It does not refer to an induced somnolent state. Patients are not “put under” by the therapist, nor are they out of control and directed by the will of another person. Trance, in fact, is a natural state experienced by every one. Our most familiar experience takes place when we daydream, but other trance states can occur when we meditate, pray, or perform exercises—such as jogging, which as sometimes been called “meditation in motion.” …In trace [hypnosis], patients often intuitively understand the meaning of dreams, symbols, and other unconscious expressions. …In helping a patient enter a trance, the therapist captures the patient’s attention and directs it inward, leading him to an inner search and a hypnotic response.nn*Erickson has been called the most influential hypnotherapist of our time. Now all you have to do is be willing!
