The drugs had spoilt numerous lives of the intelligent mind. There are numerous celebrity addiction stories which had a tragic end. The best part is that such celebrity addiction stories are being repeated in every decade and they had a successful professional career. Janis Joplin of Big brother fame was born in on January 19, 1943(1943-01-19). Since childhood, Janis has never been happy the way her parents cared for her. The parents later accepted stating, "She was unhappy and unsatisfied without [receiving a lot of attention]. Her singing career began in the local choir and she was a great follower of Odetta and Big Mama Thornton. Her first song which was recorded on tape at the home was "What Good Can Drinkin' Do" in the year December 1962 . Later she came up with more songs like "Typewriter Talk," "Trouble In Mind," "Kansas City Blues," "Hesitation Blues", "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out", "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" and "Long Black Train Blues," and was later released as the bootleg album The Typewriter Tape. During this period her drug use increased and she acquired a title of "speed freak" and occasionally was also taking heroin. Apart from the drug addiction information, she also started taking other psychoactive drugs and was a heavy drinker throughout her career; her favorite beverage was Southern Comfort. In year1965 on the request of her friends she came back home. Observing her falling health, the friends requested her to quit drugs. She avoided drugs and alcohol and tried to change her lifestyle and personality. She began wearing relatively modest dresses, adopted a beehive hairstyle. Joplin became engaged to a man but the marriage plans got terminated soon afterwards. Joplin began again got addicted to heroin when she returned to the United States. Her relationship with Niehaus ended because he observed her taking drugs. Ryan Matthew Dunn was an American reality television personality and daredevil best known for being a member of the Jackas and Viva La Bam crew. He hosted Homewrecker and Provin Ground. On June 20, 2011, Dunn and Zachary Hartwell, a production assistant on Jackass Number Two died in a road accident when Dunn's car hit a tree in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Some time before the accident, Dunn had posted a photo on a social network website of himself and Hartwell drinking at a bar. As per the police report, Dunn was the driver of the vehicle. He had a blood alcohol level of 0.196% which is twice more than the state's legal limit of 0.08%.
