Do you ever feel like you are doing all the right things and yet the money you want to attract into your life just isn't coming to you?
Most folks aren't even aware that they are repelling money. HOW are they repelling money?
By harboring false beliefs and fears about money.
When I first met my husband, he wasn't doing very well financially. One day I asked him about his money beliefs. He said that he was afraid of making a lot of money because his friends who did got "hit up" for money all the time by their friends.
This fear of how his friends would behave, kept him from achieving his dream of earning lots of money. He didn't realize that he was creating his own obstacle to attracting wealth. When he was able to transform his limiting beliefs about money, it began flowing to him.
What if you could transform those false beliefs into ones that SERVE YOU? What if you could actually "make friends" with money?
Here are 5 tips for TRANSFORMING your beliefs about money.
Tip #1: Recognizing and understanding your beliefs about money will help you discover whether or not they are aiding or hindering your pursuit of wealth.
It is important to DEFINE what your beliefs about money are. Then DECIDE whether you want to keep that belief or replace it with a new one.
For instance, if you believe that you will never earn ONE MILLION DOLLARS, decide if that belief is attracting money or not. If not, then change it to something you want to believe, such as "I can make one million dollars!"
Tip #2: Your money beliefs may be from some experience in the past that you have since forgotten but the belief is still there.
Most of us don't even know where our money beliefs came from. If you stop and think about it, you might come up with several experiences that formed your beliefs about money. Only then will you be able to see how they are affecting you now. Once you recognize their origins, you can choose to keep or replace them with ones that serve you better.
Tip #3: When you can uncover and face your fears about money, you are on the road to creating your financial life on purpose.
Many of us harbor unspoken fears about what will happen to us if we don't have enough money. If you can get in touch with these fears and see them as useless worrying, you can overcome them and move on.
Tip #4: It is interesting to discover that your unproductive beliefs about money can create the very obstacles that seem to prevent you from attracting money.
For example, I had the erroneous belief that having a lot of money would be too difficult to manage so I didn't want very much of it.
But when I decided that I didn't want that belief anymore, I started attracting information that showed me how to manage money on a small scale and then apply it to a larger scale. Then I was able to remove that obstacle to creating more wealth.
Tip #5: Money is not wealth. It is merely a device for measuring wealth.
When you make friends with money, you no longer fear it or worry about it. You can play with it and use it to support your dreams. After all, isn't that why you have a friend?
Making friends with money by affirming positive beliefs about it and studying how best to use it will help you attract more of it.
Your beliefs about money may be what is holding you back from more earning power. Looking at your current beliefs and transforming the ones that no longer support your desires can make the difference in your ability to attract wealth.
