Treat Your Body As Well As a Fine-tuned Running Engine
If you haven’t taken charge by now to treat your body as well as a fine-tuned running engine, I seriously believe you should do it if you want to live a healthy life.
It’s amazing today that so many people go through their earlier lives surprisingly healthy but by the time they reach early adult-hood their body is starting to become unhealthy.
What’s happening here? Is their cultural changing? In my generation being healthy was not a big issue then. We ate healthy food. We were more active physically then too.
We bought our food in groceries that sold healthy food. Many people had their own garden that grew healthy food. We even bought our chicken and eggs from the local farmer who raised healthy food.
As the years passed the world got more faced-paced. The local grocery stores became super-sized stores buying their products from sources from huge farms that raised fruit and vegetables by adding harmful hormones to them; spraying them with pesticides; and only thinking of earning huge profit margins for them instead of considering raising healthy products. Now the small farmer was no longer the main supplier of meat. Factory farms became a reality producing huge amounts of unhealthy animal products.
The dairy farmer now became part of the same class of unhealthy producers. Because of their massive operations they didn’t always live up to healthy standards of production either.
That started to create diseases within the production of the product and eventually spreading diseases even to people who bought the products. Their chickens and eggs started spreading diseases wherever they were sold locally or nationally.
Now if all this was not enough to make matters worse the fast food industry now came on the scene. Because of the fast world getting to be faster than ever even healthy meal planning was becoming a thing of the past also.
Thoughts of eating healthy were not as much of a priority as much as it was in the past. Now people began to wonder why they were experiencing more illness and more diseases more frequently.
People were not realizing they were creating their only health problems now. They didn’t realize that you not only eat healthy food but you also try to purchase healthy food that you prepare in your meals too.
That means you don’t make it a habit to eat your meals in fast food places; you try to buy your food you are cooking at organic markets; if you frequently buy in regular grocery stores don’t buy processed food (frozen food isn’t too bad)
Once you get past the food recommendations the next thing you need to think about is strengthening your immune system with vitamins and other supplements to repel illnesses and diseases.
If you simply will remind yourself to treat your body as well as a fine-tuned running machine you will be ahead of the game of producing a body that has a more than average chance of creating a body that is as healthy as it can be.
Life will become more fun, more productive than ever and who knows how much longer you could live? Sounds like a good deal to me – what do you think?
