India is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the entire world with millions of visitors arriving in the country annually. Getting the best of the vast sub continent is the challenges faced by visitors.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the entire world, India has much to offer for everyone visiting it. However, it is also a vast sub continent and there is so much to see that it becomes a challenge getting the best out of a trip to the country.

Multiple Facets of the Trip

Whether it is history, culture or heritage, wildlife or nature, flora and fauna, mountain ranges or foaming seas, temples or other heritage constructions, forts and deserts, art and culture, cuisines and delicacies, hospitality and handicraft; there is virtually nothing that a visitor won’t find in the vast sub continent. Add to this the ever hospitable people around and the trip for any outsider is likely to be memorable.

Piling on Excess Won’t Help

Very often the visitors on trip to India commit the mistake of piling locations for visiting but that is not the way one should go for viewing the best of the vast country. World might look manageable from the viewing through the laptop or desktop but in reality it is something different. There are travelers who have visited India more than 20 times in past ten years and yet to cover the best part of what could be visited in this vast country.

First Timer’s Dilemma

First time visitors to India will find choosing the right itinerary a great dilemma for them. North or South, East and West, the vast spread of lands have something unique to offer. Whether it is the snow clad Himalayan ranges in the North and mystic natural beauty of Garhwal regions; hill stations like Shimla, Mussourie, Nainital, Darjeeling and Gangtok, the mystic Kamroop Kamakhya in the far East or the Thor deserts in the far west, India has marvels to offer for the visitors in every respect.

Unique South India

South India has a lot to offer as well and is unique in every sense of the word. For instance Tamil Nadu tours that combines the ecstasies of fabulous hill stations, golden shiny beaches, nature’s bounty in flora and fauna, a series of architectural marvels in various temples and the unforgettable food delicacies, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Another such destination is the God’s own country, Kerala. In fact Kerala tours are most popular among the honeymooning couples for the backwaters in Kochi and other places.

North and South India Temples

There are numerous locations in India that are full of temples. Tamil Nadu in the South, Odisha in the East, Gujarat in the West, and Uttar Pradesh in the North are temple states of the country with thousands of temples spread across them. South India temples are unique in their architectural patterns and different from the North Indian temples. Last but not the least; is the Rajasthan tours that can take one back down the memory lanes in the forgotten times of history through the legends of valor of Rajput warriors.

One cannot expect to cover all in one and has to go by part in tour of India.
