The Middle East is located at the junction of Eurasia (geographical area that includes Europe and Asia ), and Africa, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean.

Over the years, the Middle East has been the center of matters of great importance at the world level in the strategic, political, economic, cultural and religious spheres. It is made up of 17 countries although it is often related to countries in North Africa, Sudan and Somalia. Due to the strong cultural and historical relationship that exists between the two; so they are usually called as part of the Middle East by Europeans; u Middle East for the Anglo-Saxons.

Near East has essentially arid and semi-arid lands, with some pastures and deserts. It has mainly low relief areas, although some areas of Turkey, Iran and Yemen are very mountainous.

The Middle East has many areas of both historical and cultural importance . In its territory we can find great landscapes and wonders of the world , such as the pyramids of Egypt or the stone-carved temple of Petra (Jordan). The countries of Israel are also of great importance, specifically the city of Jerusalem where we find the Western Wall (sacred place for the Jewish people). In Saudi Arabia we find the city of Mecca, the most sacred place of the Islamic religion, although unfortunately, no non-Muslim person can enter the city.

Climate: The Middle East has a tropical climate, where we find rainfall throughout the year.

Gastronomy: It presents a mixture of styles, Mediterranean cuisine, Maghreb cuisine, forming part of Arab cuisine. Some kitchens in the Middle East are not included in the Arab world, such as kitchens in: Iran, Armenia and Israel. These kitchens are characterized by having many variants in their dishes, due to the proximity of the surrounding countries, in which predominantly dry territories predominate.

Languages: We can find a large number of language families in the Middle East, including Indo-European, Afro-Asian and Altaic languages. Although Arabic in its variants such as Persian and Turkish, they are the most spoken. Other non-native languages of the Middle East are also used, such as English, French, Judeo-Spanish, Urdi, Hindi and other languages of South Asia.

Religions: The Middle East is home to a melting pot of religions, in which Islam predominates (divided into Shiites and Sunnis), coexisting with Zoroastrianism, Judaism and Christianity.
