Colon cleansing is becoming very popular lately. Many people started to look for colon cleansing products, like dietary supplements in order to avoid an impacted colon and possible health problems derived by this condition. However, many of those people are not aware that there are natural foods that cleanse your colon which work in conjunction with supplements to make your cleanse that much more effective. The most important ingredient included in all of these foods is fiber. Fiber promotes bowel regularity and movement, helping your intestine tract to eliminate fecal matter. Oat bran and Oatmeal: rnThese foods are high in fiber and help you cleanse your colon as well as reducing your cholesterol levels. The recommendation is to eat at least one of these two foods during breakfast so your body can get the most out of them. Vegetables: Nothing can replace the importance of vegetables in your diet. There's a big quantity of vegetables that will help you promote a better digestion. The most significant vegetable foods that cleanse your colon are green peas and spinach. The rest of the vegetables that are good but with slightly less concentration of fibers are carrots, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes with skin, beets, turnips, artichokes, and squash among others. Nuts and Seeds: rnEven though, nuts and seeds are high in fats, they also contain a lot of fiber, minerals and vitamins. If you want to get the most out of the properties of the nuts and seeds, you need to buy them in stores specialized in grains, seeds and nuts. Canary seeds, almonds, macadamia nuts, peanuts, walnuts, pistachios, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. There's also a big nut with very important properties that promote regularity and bowel movement: the coconut. The coconut's pulp is very good in nutrients and it's an excellent fiber source. The coconut's water works wonders for colon cleansing. It's recommended to drink it in the morning before any foods; it will raise your metabolism, rehydrate and detoxify your body, cleanse your digestive tract, balance your PH and boost poor circulation among other things. Fruits: Fruits are easy to digest and they are also high in fibers, making them the best natural colon cleanser. The most transcendental fruits that cleanse your colon are oranges, mangos, apples, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, papaya, plums, raisins, kiwis, and tangerines. rnVitamin C is very important if you want to have your colon cleansed. Any type of juice containing vitamin C is recommended before or during breakfast. Also, whenever you have the chance, eat any of these fruits in the morning for better results. Cereals: rnCereals are other type of foods that cleanse your colon without problems. Try to eat them as natural as possible, which mean no fats, sugars or additives. Cereals are perfect for breakfast and you can choose the best one for your needs. Whether you want it to have more fiber in your diet, or lower your cholesterol levels, cereals are perfect for your diet. Beans: Even if you don't like them, beans are one of the most perfect foods that cleanse your colon. They are very important for your health, and even though beans can make you gassy, beans are a must in your diet to detoxify your colon. Your choices are split peas, black-eyed peas, navy beans, and lima beans. You also need to consume foods that include Magnesium and Calcium. These two nutrients help your intestinal tract to establish good regularity and they also help with your bowel's movement. When eating foods that cleanse your colon, chances of developing colon problems will decrease enormously.
