If you've succeeded in losing weight, but can't seem to get rid of fat in certain problem areas, you may be a good candidate for liposuction. Women and men alike can benefit from liposuction surgery to feel better about their body by getting rid of problematic fat - although they usually undergo liposuction surgery for different reasons and undergo fat removal in different areas of their body. Women commonly find it difficult to get rid of fat in their inner thighs, butt and upper arms and for this reason begin to investigate liposuction as a procedure that may lend the desired lift to their body in certain areas. Liposuction is more or less a procedure that involves the removal of fat cells stored just underneath the skin. There are a couple of different surgery methods, so a person considering liposuction should speak over the particulars of the procedure with the specific surgeon they are considering using, such as whether or not it is ultrasound assisted, but the typical plastic surgeon uses some type of laser liquification and suction tube during the fat removal procedure. While liposuction is a cosmetic plastic surgery that is commonly only associated with women and their trouble spots on the body, liposuction can be applied to other areas of the body as well, and this is where liposuction finds more popularity among men. More men are opting for a liposuction procedure, but men are more likely to feel a need for chin liposuction - a type of plastic surgery that serves as a removal of excess fat under the chin, which is a place that tends to be more of a problem for men. Chin liposuction can lift the look of a double chin by leaving a man (or woman) with a more chiseled jaw line. Finally, another form of liposuction that targets men is for those males who have developed a condition known as gynecomastia, or breast tissue development. This is a condition that especially hits males who are in their teens. This is a body issue in which excess fat and tissue build up in the pectoral or breast region and can cause a man to appear as if he has developed breasts. This can happen to a man even if he is in good physical shape, and is rather distressing for all men, but especially for teenage boys. While a liposuction type procedure for gynecomastia should be considered a last resort, there may be situations when a type of breast reduction via surgery may be the only viable and long-lasting solution. For a male who suffers from this condition and has not found a remedy with non surgical treatments, they may be a good candidate for this cosmetic surgery that can be life changing. As you can see, while we normally associate liposuction with only women's body issues - particularly around specific "trouble spots" on a woman's body, it is clear that liposuction is not just for one gender, nor is it only about the body. Fat removal from under the chin is a type of lift from liposuction for either sex and is certainly not an area on the body that a person can target with exercise to eliminate fat. Further, there are other non-weight related issues and conditions that a person may develop for which a type of liposuction may need to be kept in mind as a surgery that may be an end-of-the-line procedure. As always, consult with more than one surgeon and get their opinions before deciding on a specific type of liposuction surgery or procedure. A surgeon will be able to tell you if you are a good candidate, what type of fat removal procedure they use, and what the recovery time for your body may.

Finally, another form of liposuction that targets men is for those males who have developed a condition known as gynecomastia, or breast tissue development. This is a condition that especially hits males.... Learn more at Liposuction Utah and ultrasound assisted liposuction
