Often, persons slow in their reflexes / reactions or understanding are mocked around by referring with a label / tag of ‘tube light’. It is because a tube light takes little time to begin emitting light while ‘switched on’ in caparison with a bulb which does the job instantaneously. But its power consumption is much lower than a traditional bulb of same wattage.rnIn the same way, there are persons of two types. One category is vocal / expressive like my wife, who does not think before uttering a long sequence of text. It may not be logical, fact, cohesive or constructive. What matters to them most is the speed by which they can react, rather than the substance being spoken by them.rnAnd the other category is introvert / quiet persons like me. For them thinking / analyzing/ calculating is more important than the speed of their output of speech. Most of the writers & artists fall in this category. They accumulate their instant reactions, process & refine these over times and present as a creation to the world.rnWe both jointly pulls the load of our domestic affairs in the home, in spite of being different. It’s a team work with occasional (?) quarrel over issues. In the same way, any healthy society needs both of these categories of people. Their ratios may be different in different societies. A perfect blend will make the society more effective and progressive.rnSlow & fast are two different measurement of the same property in different degree. The reference point of person making this measurement also plays a role in this. These are not opposite entity to each other but complementary.rnBye the way, which type of persons are you?rnIf you are like me and someone mocks you, you can console yourself with the above analysis.
