It is extremely important that every building has a a good ventilating device installed. This is important because a properly ventilated house is less prone to air borne diseases, as the ventilating device constantly replaces hot polluted air of the house from outside fresh air. Thus, high indoor air quality is maintained and the inside environment remains healthy. Moreover, non availability of a ventilation system, leads to the accumulation of moisture and frost on the roof, which in turn decreases the life of the building. These reasons give rise to the need of a good air ventilator inside the building. An efficient ventilating device that is increasingly finding its use in all types of buildings is the eco-ventilator. It is so called because these ventilators do not require any power for operation and it does not make any noise, either. Driven by freely available wind energy, these ventilators provide free service 24 hours a day. These are often referred to as fit and forget system as they seldom require any maintenance. Contrary to this type of ventilator, the exhaust fan needs power for operation and also make some noise during operation.

Wind driven eco-ventilator, also referred to as a turbo ventilator, is so designed that they find application in all types of buildings, be it factories, industries, residential buildings or warehouses. They can be easily installed and configured to meet the required fresh air changes. Being light weight and yet strong, they are easily fitted on top of the industrial sheds and they remove all fumes generated in the working area of the industry. There are a large number of places throughout the world which suffers from acute shortage of power. In all these places, in the absence of power, ventilating devices like the conventional exhaust fans cannot provide service. The turbine roof ventilators or eco-ventilators are the best solution for these areas as they do not require any power for operation and provides free service at all time of day and night. The demand for the wind driven turbo ventilator owing to its various benefits, is on the rise. Hence, a large number of companies worldwide are jumping in the business of making eco-ventilators and providing solution to the commercial and domestic ventilation needs of people. However, eco-ventilators of only those companies should be bought, which are in this business for a long time and guarantee their product.
