Equal in protein with a lot less fat and cholesterol, ground turkey is a great alternative to ground beef. In these days of looking for healthier options, don’t overlook this one. You will be pleased with the results.
Jalapeno-stuffed Turkey Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
1 ½ pound ground turkey
1 tablespoo
Worcestershire
2 tablespoons dried onion soup mixrn½ tsp. garlic powderrn½ tsp. saltrn½ tsp. pepperr
Cheese, shredded (cheddar or co jack work well)
Jalapenos, choppedr
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Form very thin patties and sandwich the patties together putting the shredded cheese and chopped jalapenos in the middle. Pinch the edges together to seal. Grill 4 minutes on each side.
