Golf drivers are the clubs used in playing golf that help in long range shots. They vary in length and height according to the style of the golfer and the swing type of the club. The major impact on the distance that the ball travels is due to the type of the golf driver. Golf drivers are made of different types of materials and each material has its own benefits and players prefer different material to suit their need to hit longer golf drives. Golf drivers are usually made of steel, titanium, carbon or made of composite material.

The golf drivers that are made up of steel are bit heavy but are cheapest of them all. Steel drivers give a customary look to the gear because of the perfect metallic outlook. The heads of these steel golf drivers are small because they have a small flexibility. They can form the core of your long drive gear but are usually used for domestic tou
aments.

The golf drivers made from carbon are known for long drive shots. They are flexible enough to help golfers with slow swing to hit the ball to a distant place. These carbon drivers are light in weight and thus, give elegance to your gear. These drivers are used by professionals but in the domestic competitions. They are fairly priced and thus, preferred by many players around the world. The durability of these golf drivers is an issue but overall the performance of these golf drivers is better than the steel ones.

Titanium golf drivers are the most expensive ones in the market. Titanium has been a breakthrough in the game of golf. The clubs used for long drives made from titanium are very lightweight with larger heads, which enlarge the sweet spot of the face and make the club more effective for long drives. Hitting long drives is not a big issue, if you are having the titanium drivers and they are durable as well because titanium does not rust. They are considered by golfers as the one time investment as they are highly durable. Although, these golf drivers are very expensive but still then they are widely used in the international competitions.

Another type of golf drivers are the composite ones that are made of a titanium ally with few non metals. These are also light in weight and can also resist high pressures. Since they are light in weight, the producers mainly concentrate the weight at the center of the face to improve the stroke of the club. The composite golf clubs are also preferred by the players around the world as their performance is top notch. In addition to the material of the club, the height is also very important. People who are experts in playing golf love to use long drivers as it can help them in driving the ball to far of places. However, the learners should use short drivers to gain control on direction.

As it is rightly said” popularity is like sword and its use depends on the character”. This applies similarly in the game of golf too as golfers have their best friends and enemies hidden in the golfing kit only, irrespective of illegal golf clubs.
