Hemorrhoids are described as swellings of veins that occur from the lining of the anus and the rectum. For those who suffer from this disorder, of course they want to find a cure to stop the bleeding and the pain caused by hemorrhoids. However, before being able to have a perfect cure for hemorrhoids, it is essential to determine the types of hemorrhoids that you have since it can help you to decide what types of remedies and cures to treat this kind of problem. Certainly, it will prevent the hemorrhoids to take place again. Hemorrhoids can be classified into two types: The internal hemorrhoids, and external hemorrhoids. 1. Internal Hemorrhoids. This type of hemorrhoids develops inside the anal canal in the lower rectum. Internal hemorrhoids affect the internal rectal region caused by too much bearing down of stools and take place when there is increased pressure on the internal veins. They are not visible from the outside of the anus because the veins and tissues are found in the inner wall of the anal canal. Internal hemorrhoids are less painful than the external hemorrhoids. At times, internal hemorrhoids become enlarged to the extent that lumps come out of the anus. This condition is termed as prolapsed internal hemorrhoids. This stage is the severe stage of internal hemorrhoids and much more painful than ordinary internal hemorrhoids. Degrees of Internal Hemorrhoids Internal hemorrhoids can be classified into four degrees.
A first degree of internal hemorrhoids usually occur in the anus and are characterized by swelling into the canal during bowel movements. They are considered to be the least severe degree and may not cause a lot of trouble. • A second degree of internal hemorrhoids bulges from the anus and goes back inside of it. This degree causes more bleeding to take place. After straining has completed, the hemorrhoid goes back into the anus. • A third degree hemorrhoid swells out from the anus during bowel movement and needs to be pushed back with a finger. • A fourth degree internal hemorrhoid is the most severe stage in which a hemorrhoid protrudes from the anus all of the time. You will not be able to move this back into the anus.
2. External Hemorrhoids This type of hemorrhoids is located on the external area and is usually found under the skin. They are considered as the most painful and noticeable. The swollen veins have the tendency to bleed easily either from frequent rubbing or straining. Rubbing and irritation from draining mucus may cause itching in the canal area. Furthermore, the severe situation can occur if there’s a presence of blood clot in the areas which can lead to the formation of a hard lump called thrombosed hemorrhoid. This condition is a very serious stage of external hemorrhoids. It is the result of blood clot in any of the dilated veins. It appears most likely to be scary that it bulges in a purple-bluish color. Difference between Internal and External Hemorrhoids The types of hemorrhoids are classified according on their locations. Certainly, they occur in two places; internally and externally. Internal hemorrhoids are found in the anal tissue in the lower rectum while external hemorrhoids are described to be the bulging of the tissue outside of the anus. Additionally, when it comes to visibility, external hemorrhoids are easier to determine than the internal because they appear with blood during bowel movements.
