Kumbhalgarh is a historic fortress located in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. It is a World Heritage Site included in Mount Fortes of Rajasthan and also one of Rajasthan's major sights. Fort Kumbhalgarh is built by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century. It is the second most important fort in Rajasthan after Chittorgarh. It is believed that the original Kumbhalgarh fort was built by the Prince Mauryan King Samprati. Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of the great king Maharana Pratap, a warrior of Mewar.
