It is believed that many people have suffered from cystitis in their lives, and most of them are deeply impressed with the symptoms of cystitis. They often feel uncomfortable in the bladder, short and red urine (small amount of urine each time, dark yellow or even red in color), dribbling urine (frequent and short urination, endless drips), and astringent and painful urine (poor urination, urethral pain). Most people think cystitis is caused by bacterial infection, and antibiotics will be the first choice after symptoms appear. But in fact, cystitis is also divided into many kinds, which need to be tailored to the case. Now let's take a look. Classification of cystitis: Cystitis is caused by bacteria and other pathogens invading the bladder, causing inflammation and irritation, resulting in urinary discomforts such as short and red urine, dripping urine, and astringent urine. Cystitis belongs to lower urinary tract infection and has the following types: Bacterial cystitis There are two main ways of infection: ascending infection and descending disease. Ascending infection is caused by bacteria entering the bladder through the urethra. This kind of infection is relatively standard. It is more likely to occur in women in infancy, pregnancy, and new marriage. Descending infection is secondary to kidney infection, and bacteria enter the bladder through the ureter. Nonbacterial cystitis 1. Interstitial cystitis. It is a special chronic cystitis. Its main symptoms are severe frequent urination, the urgency of urination, lower abdominal pain, urination pain, hematuria, etc. Cystoscopy revealed decreased bladder volume and submucosal hemorrhage at the bottom or trigone of the bladder. It is not easy to find at the initial examination but can be seen when the bladder fluid is discharged and filled. The villous congestion can also be seen at the top of the bladder, with a diameter of about 1-1.5cm, and its center is yellow. 2. Cystitis glandularis. It is a rare proliferative lesion of bladder mucosa epithelium. The clinical symptoms are complex and may develop into bladder adenocarcinoma. The patients were mostly middle-aged women. 3. Radiocystitis. Radiocystitis may occur when the bladder receives radiation for months or years, and the dose exceeds 40-65GY (4000-6500RAD). Hematuria is the main symptom. 4.Follicular cystitis. This disease is common in chronic urinary tract infections. Cystoscopy can observe small grayish-yellow raised nodules, often surrounded by inflammatory mucosa, but sometimes normal mucosa can be seen between nodules. The lesions are usually located in the trigone or the bottom of the bladder. Microscopic examination revealed that there were nodules composed of lymphocyte follicles in the lamina propria of the mucosa, which should be differentiated from tumors. 5.Emphysematous cystitis. It is rare and often occurs in patients with diabetes. Because the glucose in the bladder wall is invaded by bacteria (Proteus), it will ferment and lead to the gas shape of the mucosa. So different types of cystitis are treated differently. When similar symptoms occur, do not take antibiotics blindly. People should go to a regular hospital for targeted inspection to find the cause and symptomatic treatment. In the treatment, people can choose herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill and other safe drugs with no side effects. It is especially suitable for chronic conditions. In addition, to better treat the disease, the patients should also ensure sleep, supplement nutrition, and enhance immunity. What are the manifestations of cystitis? 1. Burning when urinating Men feel burning when urinating, usually because of inflammation or infection, such as cystitis, urinary tract infection, etc. Urine passes through an inflamed area, causing a burning sensation. Men must pay enough attention to these symptoms, do a timely inspection and seek active treatment. Once the inflammation disappears, the symptoms will be relieved. 2. Urgency of urination Patients with prostate diseases are no strangers to symptoms such as urgency and frequency of urination, which is also a symptom of cystitis. Cystitis will affect urination, making men often feel like urinating, but the bladder cannot be completely emptied. Some drugs can be used to relieve symptoms such as the urgency of urination. Only by treating inflammation can these symptoms be eliminated. 3. Hematuria If you get cystitis, bladder tissue will become inflamed. When more and more inflammation occurs, the possibility of bleeding also increases, and blood may be expelled from the body with urine. The blood flow in urine is related to the severity of inflammation, but in any case, even if there is a small amount of urine blood, relevant tests should be done. 4. The urine is turbid with a peculiar smell Usually, urine is colorless and does not have a strong taste. Once the color and smell of urine change, it may indicate disease or inflammation. Cystitis can cause not only hematuria but also cause urine turbidity and odor. So when this symptom occurs in life, the simplest way is to check the urine routine. 5. Lower abdominal tenderness Cystitis will increase the pressure in the bladder, so patients with cystitis will feel continuous lower abdominal tenderness and sometimes severe pain. The pain may become more serious if the inflammation has not been controlled. In short, people should pay attention to early treatment no matter what kind of cystitis. Inflammation also affects the immune system and increases the risk of other diseases.
