Unseen Friends?

Kim Bassinger, the well-known movie actress, once said – “I feel there are two people inside me – me and my intuition. If I go against her, she'll screw me every time, and if I follow her, we get along quite nicely."
There are countless well-documented cases throughout history of people who have had their lives changed – or even saved – by listening to and responding to their “intuition”, “inner voice”, “sixth sense”, “inspiration”, or whatever other name we may call it.
Perhaps it has even happened to you? I know it happened to me, many years ago, dramatically, in an unmistakable and unforgettable way that quite literally saved my life and the lives of two friends who were in the car with me. But that’s another story …
What is this thing we call intuition? Is it really inside us? We pretty much know it exists. There is far too much well documented evidence and far too many instances for it not to.
The question is, where does intuition or inspiration come from? Is our DNA programmed at birth with all the infinite knowledge of the universe that we can somehow “tune into” just when we most need it?
Were Mozart’s inspired talent, da Vinci’s inspired inventions or Einstein’s inspired genius all a product of their own DNA or their own molecules and cells? And do the rest of us all have the identical knowledge and genius tucked away in our own cells as well?
That doesn’t seem very likely, or we would all be Einsteins, da Vincis and Mozarts. But clearly we’re not. So there must be some other explanation, some other outside source for the wisdom, inspiration and genius so many people manifest.
I know, beyond the slightest possibility of doubt, what saved the lives of my friends and I on that fateful day could not have come from within me, as it involved instantaneously acquiring brand-new life-saving information that, until that exact, critical moment, I never had before.
So if intuition or our “inner voice” doesn’t actually come from within us, where else could it possibly come from? And how do we access it? And can we access it at will, when we really need it? How do we do it?
Today, more than at any other time in human history, I believe we are in a position to explore the answers to these questions with a new understanding that would have been impossible as little as fifteen years ago. Why? Because of the Internet.
Think about it.
Today, any 12-year-old with a school project to complete would think nothing of turning on her computer, “tuning in” online to an Internet search engine like Google or YouTube and typing in a question or phrase about something she needs to know. For example, “information on tsunamis”.
She would barely give a thought to the “miracle” of almost instantaneously receiving millions of pages of the most comprehensive, detailed information on Tsunamis she could ever wish for, as a response to her query.
The information would simply arrive on her computer screen, like a “flash of inspiration” from what to her are completely invisible and unknown “friends” who were willing and able to provide her with the information she needed.
These unseen providers may have been on opposite ends of the Earth. Some may no longer even be living. But none of that matters to our 12-year-old, who simply sent out her request for the desired knowledge she needed and confidently waited for it to reach her.
It wouldn’t occur to the child to question where the information came from or by what miraculous process it had reached her. She would simply accept it in good faith and act on it.
This information did not reside within her computer, and it most certainly did not spring from within her own DNA. “Unseen Friends” willingly and gladly provided her with the information over an unseen network. With today’s technology, this entire transfer of information took place over an invisible, wireless network with no physical connections or links whatsoever.
And that’s merely a man-made network.
The human brain is basically an awesome biological supercomputer that some neuroscientists theorize is at least a hundred billion times more powerful than the most powerful supercomputer Man could ever devise.
So, isn’t it possible that our own brains are all the “wireless” WAP technology we need, to “tune in” to an infinite, unlimited Cosmic Internet? An information network of “Unseen Friends,” at least a hundred billion, billion times more powerful than any information system Man could ever devise?
Isn’t it possible that we all have invisible Unseen Friends willing and able to provide us with all the answers to all the questions we could ever wish to know? Unseen Friends ready, willing and able to help us and guide us in any way we could possibly need? Is it not possible that this is the true source of what we call inspiration or intuition?
Perhaps all we need to do is “tune in”, send whatever request or information we need to know out into the Cosmic Internet and then wait, quietly and confidently, until the answers reach our biological Supercomputer, to appear on the screen of our conscious mind as a … “flash of inspiration”.
How do we tune in? By quieting our mind, clearing it of all noise, static and clutter and focusing with crystal clarity on the information we want to know, the goal we want to achieve or the problem we need to solve.
Some may think of this process as “prayer”. Others may prefer the term “meditation”. The label isn’t important. Nor is trying to figure out how it works. It is simply a question of using your awesome biological Supercomputer to connect you to the ultimate source of all knowledge, to help you answer any question or solve any problem you may ever encounter.
It can change your life to any reality you could ever ask for or want.
