UPSC EXAMS- IFS AND SCRA

Union Public Service Commission is an effective organization that has provided job opportunities to lakhs of Indian students. For years, it has conducted successful recruitments all over India, for highly prestigious jobs. All the jobs offered by UPSC are high in demand and it has to conduct challenging examinations to choose the best candidates out of the thousands who apply every year for various posts. Two such examinations, SCRA and IFS are also conducted by UPSC every year, and encounter the maximum number of aspiring candidates after posts like IAS and IPS. Indian Forest Service Examination: • The Indian Forest Service Examination is conducted every year, on a national basis by Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC). It gains you entry into the Indian Forest Service which works for the protection and conservation of forest resources. • The candidates chosen for the IFC play a very crucial role in the management and supervision of the country’s forest reserves and wild life. • The members are recruited by the Center but their services are put under the various State cadres, with the privilege of serving both under the State and under the Center. • UPSC conducts the Indian Forest Service Exam generally in the month of July. The pattern of exam is similar to that of civil services, and selection is done in three phases. The chosen candidates are undertaken for a training period which leads to their final recruitment. Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination: • The Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC) conducts challenging exams and interviews to recruit candidates for an undergraduate programmed in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. • SCRA exam is conducted in two parts. Part one involves written examination carrying 600 marks. Candidates who qualify this written exam have to apply for and clear the personality test that follows. • Clearing the SCRA exam will lead you to a training session of four years as mechanical engineers. The candidates who perform well in this training session are further chosen for summer programs and interns in Indian Railways. • After completion of the programs, the candidates are provided best jobs in the Indian Railways. They are given exciting packages and this job contains high scope of improvement. rnBoth the exams SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam) and IFS (Indian Forest Service Exam) conducted by UPSC are highly challenging. Every year, thousands of candidates apply for these posts, however only a few are chosen. Thus, to be a part of either of these fields, you need to work extra hard and give in your best shot.
