Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common infection that usually occurs when bacteria enter the opening of the urethra and multiply in the urinary tract. The urinary tract includes the kidneys, the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder (ureters), bladder, and the tube that carries urine from the bladder (urethra)nnBladder and kidney disorders:nnPut 1 tbsp of St.John’s wort in 1 cup of boiling water, boil for 15 min, filter and drink ¼ cup 3 times a day. Infusion possesses diuretic, antiphlogistic and antibacterial qualities.nnPlace 1 tsp of crushed sweet flag grass in 1 cup of boiling water, let stand for 20 min, filter and drink ½ cup 4 times a day 30 min before meal.nnCombine together: 5 parts of anise berries, 5 parts of parsley seeds, 1 and ½ part of shepherd’s purse and 1 and ½ part of dandelion. Put 1 tbsp of mix in 1 cup of boiling water, boil for 10-15 min at low heat and filter. Drink 1 cup of decoction at breakfast and 1 cup-in the evening.nnBladder stones:nnPut 1 tbsp of dog rose berries in 2 cups of boiling water and boil for 10 min. Steep for 24 hours. Drink 1 cup 2 times a day for 1 month.nnPut 1 tsp of crushed parsley leaves and roots in 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 2-3 hours and drink 1 cup a day 1 hour before meal.nnPlace 1 tbsp of knotweed in 200 g of boiling water and steep for 2 hours. Drink 1/3 cup 3 times a day before meal.nnSteep 1 tbsp of nettle leaves or roots in 200 g of boiling water for 45 min. Filter and drink 1/3 cup 3 times a day before meal.nnSteep 1 tsp of birch buds in ½ cup of boiling water. Drink during a day.nnPut 1 tbsp of dog rose berries in 2 cups of boiling water and boil for 10 min. Steep 24 hours. Drink 1 cup 2 times a day for 1 month.nnCombine together equal parts of sage leaves, Melissa (lemon balm) leaves, veronica (black root) grass, ivy leaves and coltsfoot leaves. Place 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water and let stand for 30 min. Filter and drink ½ cup 4 times a day. Do not use if acute kidney inflammation and strong cough are present.nnBladder inflammation:nnCombine 3 parts of mountain ash berries and 1 part of bearberry grass. Put 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water and let stand for 3-4 hours. Filter and drink ½ cup 3-4 times a day 30 min before meal with 1 tsp of honey.nnPut 2 tsp of yarrow in 1 cup of boiling water, let stand for 1 hour, filter and take ¼ cup 4 times a day before meal.nnCombine 5 parts of juniper berries, 5 parts of birch leaves, 2 parts of parsley and 2 parts of lovage root. Put 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of cold water, let stand for 6 hours, then boil for 15 min at low heat and filter. Take ¼ of cup 4 times a day.nnCombine equal parts of: juniper berries, cumin berries, licorice root, horsetail grass, bearberry leaves, rosemary leaves and ivy leaves. Put 1 tbsp of crushed mix in 1 cup of boiling water. Steep for 1 hour, filter and drink 1-2 cups a day.nnKidney and bladder stones:nnCombine equal parts of juniper berries, rosemary leaves and horsetail grass. 1 tbsp of the mix steep for 6 hours in 1 cup of cold water, boil for 15 min, filter and drink 1 cup in the morning and evening.nnPut 2 tsp of crushed horsetail in 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 1 hour, strain and drink during a day.nnKidney stones:nnCombine 1 part of dog rose berries, 1 part of juniper berries, 1 part of birch leaves and 2 parts of madder. Put 1 tsp of the mix in1 cup of cold water and let stand for 10 hours then boil for 10 min. Filter and drink during a day.nn1 full tsp of horsetail grass put in 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 20 min, filter and drink on empty stomach every day for 2-3 months. Stones are gradually reduced to sand.nnPut 3 tbsp of black currant leaves in ½ L of boiling water and steep for 15-20 min, remove leaves, squeeze them out and discard. Heat infusion up and add 2 tbsp of fresh or dried berries. Steep some more and drink 1/2 cup during a day. Eat berries as well. Continue for 1-2 months.nnVery good results at kidney stones bring a mix of equal parts of freshly squeezed cucumber, carrot and beet juices.nnCombine 10 parts of horsetail grass, 10 parts of tansy flowers and 20 parts of mountain cranberry leaves. Put 1 tbsp of the mix in 200 g of water, bring to a boil and steep for 6 hours. Drink 1/3 cup 3 times a day after meal.nnHerbal tea for kidney and bladder: combine 24 g of birch leaves, 20 g of bearberry leaves, 15 g of dandelion roots with stem, 14 g of dog rose berries with seeds, 14 g of golden rod. Prepare a tea by steeping 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water.nnDiuretics:nnPut 1 tbsp of juniper berries in 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 30 min, filter and take 1 tbsp 3-4 times a day. Not if pregnant or acute inflammatory processes are present.nnCombine together equal parts of juniper berries, licorice European root, restharrow root and lovage root. Put 1 tbsp of crushed mix in 1 cup of cold boiled water and let stand for 6 hours. After that bring it to boil and boil for 15 min at low heat. Drink ¼ cup 4 times a day.nnCombine 6 parts of juniper berries, 2 parts of fennel seeds and 2 parts of licorice. 1 tbsp of crushed mix keep in a cup of cold water for 6 hours, then boil for 15 min and filter. Drink 1/4 cup 4 times a day. Not to be used during pregnancy and acute inflammatory processes of kidneys.nnMix together equal parts of juniper berries, licorice root, parsley root and restharrow root. Method of preparation and dosage are the same as above.nnCombine 3 parts of juniper berries and 3 parts of parsley seeds, 1 part of Adonis grass, 1 part of cumin seeds, 1 part of fennel seeds and 1 part of elder flowers. The method of preparation and dosage are the same as above.nnCombine 2 parts of juniper berries, 2 parts of horsetail grass and 2 parts of birch buds. Put 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water and steep for 20-30 min. Filter and drink ½ cup 3-4 times a day.nnCombine equal parts of dog rose berries, juniper berries and quince seeds. 1 tbsp place in 1 cup of cold water, let stand for 6 hours, than boil for 15 min at low heat. Filter and drink 1-2 cups during a day.nn1 tsp of crushed dog rose seeds boil for 15 min in 1 cup of water. Steep for 2 hours, filter and take ¼ cup 3-4 times a day before meal.nnCombine 1 part of marigold grass, 2 parts of bearberry leaves, 2 parts of yarrow grass and 2 parts of knotweed grass.
