There are many ways you can scan pages in Excel. The method you choose depends on several factors. The most important factor is the structure or layout of the pages. The data in columns and rows formatted using tabs to separate or define the text usually gives the best results with the conversion. Another consideration is the quality of the scanned files. Generally, pages with poor picture quality, small fonts or complex spreadsheets with a design to correct mistakes that take time to generate.
The best way to decide the best solution is to test whether a sample request. But the solutions in the following list may help you decide.
OCR Software: The least expensive and faster than the automatic conversion is correct. Documents with pooled data separated by tabs and spaces work best. Leaves with errors caused by non-standard columns or rows can be resolved with manual settings.
Software Zone: The program automatically recognizes the format characters and performs database. The user defines an area known as a rubber band that a particular area of the document reads. In rubber band is then trapped in a cell. The zone index is not suitable for all projects. Jobs that different types of documents may lead to conversion problems. A function can also be written to identify empty words instead of formatting the page in a separate spreadsheet.
Copy and Paste: Copy and Paste is not ideal. But can save time in retyping pages. This solution is typically used for small jobs with few errors, but data is not formatted.
