India is a land of deep spiritual tradition and the religion of Hinduism believes in the four principal pillars of human life. The four essential requirements are righteousness, material pursuits, contentment and enlightenment. There is a clear statement about sri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. It is said that if the person visits this shrine with a clear intention and confidence, he will be granted all the four boons and there will be a clear prosperity in life. It is said that the goddess has the power to fulfill anything in life if the person has that level of faith in the deity. It has been the clear experience of the pilgrims that they will not go empty handed after reaching the door of the goddess.
When you go for the journey of Sri Mata Vaishno Devi, you feel that the journey is really an enchanting one because you get to see the places where the goddess had spent time for the penance and she observed many disciplines of spirituality at these places. The peak of the journey is in the holy cave and it is the place where the human form of the goddess is merged into the astral form which is also called the form of creator considered as the three principal energies in the Hindu dharma.
You can have a wonderful Vaishno Devi Tour but it will be better if you know some history about the shrine. There is no exact clue when the pilgrimage to this holy cave started but the age of the cave is said to be around 1 million years. There are no references of worship of female deity mentioned in the Rig Veda but there was a practice of Shakti worship and there are references about it during the age of the Puranas.
There are references of the goddess in the epic of Mahabharata when lord Krishna tells Arjun to seek the blessings and thus says Arjuna-
‘Jambookatak Chityaishu Nityam Sannihitalaye’
This means that the goddess will dwell in the mountain of Jamboo [may be referring to the present day Jammu]
The goddess Vaishnodevi of Katra is located in the Trikuta hills and this is considered as the gateway to the super conscience dimension. It is referred to as the Trikuta Mountains and there is a clear revelation from the mother goddess in the form of three rock heads called holy pindas. One of the principal uniqueness is that although it is the same rock, yet the color and texture is different. The three pindis represent Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswati.
Maha Kali is considered as supreme dissolution of energy and is black in color. This is in the right. In the center, you have the Maha Lakshmi; this is the supreme maintenance energy and the color is yellowish red tinge. Maha Saraswati falls on the extreme left and is called the supreme creation energy. In the present times, you can go for the helicopter tours and for this you can do the Vaishno Devi helicopter online booking. It will be an interesting experience to have Vaishno Devi helicopter tour.
