The biggest confusion for organization’s having small or tiny website is that whether to invest their efforts in SEO or not. But some think that SEO should not be a priority.

In reality SEO is powerful than ever, and for one simple reason: Most sites are neglecting their SEO.

Here are the some SEO Tactics that your competitor does not know are as follows:

Expand Your Presence: For this you must be more concentrating and actively working on multiple platforms. Make as many profiles as for your company, brand, products etc. Think of this technique as marking your territory. Your SEO will organically improve because you’ll be in more places. It’s a simple yet powerful strategy you can start using today.

Fix the crawl errors: Don’t ignore 404 error or other URL related errors. URL errors are “specific errors that Google encountered when trying to crawl specific desktop or phone pages”. Some common examples are 404, DNS, and server errors. These errors are harmless but they have a big impact on your SEO.

Optimize your images: If you have a good impact with images in your website and these images are of small size (but not affect the quality of image) it would results into faster loading and will lead website into SEO-friendly category.

Here are a few easy ways you can enhance your images’ SEO:

Give your images a specific names (e.g., Website Development Chandigarh.jpg)
Give your images a keyword-rich alt titles (but don’t go overboard!)
Use the smallest possible file sizes (but don’t sacrifice the quality)

Optimize Your Landing Page: By optimizing your landing page you will be driving Tons of traffic to your landing page. Here are a few easy ways you can enhance your SEO:

Use one or two long-tail keywords to write your landing pager
Make sure your copy is at least 2,000 words longr
Make sure your copy is strong, clear, and relevant to your audience

Spy on Your Competitors’ Keywords: Keep a strong check on your competitors’ keywords, compare your own performance to that of your competitor. The keywords that they are using, their monthly search volume and traffic amount.

Fix Your Broken Links: Don’t keep any broken links.If site has lots of broken links, search engines will view stop accessing your website. Make sure all of your links, both internal and external, are alive and healthy.

Join question-and-answer sites: People are hungry for knowledge. That’s why so many people post on Q&A sites like Yahoo! Answers and Quora.
