If you’re in business, you market. Even if you say you’re not a good marketer, you still do it. But what if there was more to this marketing than anyone ever told you? And what if THAT'S the reason why your strategies don’t yield results or you feel really uncomfortable doing them? The American Marketing Association’s definition of marketing: Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. That means that pretty much anything you do while engaging others about your business is marketing. And I think they’re on to something with that description. If you think you’re only marketing when you do blatant self promotion or advertising, then you’re missing the most critical piece of the profit puzzle. It’s called vibrational marketing. It’s the energy and resonance you have with the services and products you offer. AND it also includes how you think, feel and focus on the topic of money in relationship to your business. Your ideal clients are already in resonance with YOU. They have been looking for what you offer. Your business is their solution, delight and dream come true. Really. “Then why aren’t they buying when they find me?” you ask. Because you haven’t cleaned up your emotions and beliefs about your business and the value of what you offer! You might also have some cockeyed (negative) beliefs about money, too. When you focus on needing clients or sales from a needy place, it throws the whole system out of whack. Your marketing efforts reflect how you feel. They either come off cheesy or like you’re trying too hard to get the sale. Marketing efforts can also lose their sparkle and become unattractive on an energetic level when you feel like you're desperate for new customers. Think vibrational marketing doesn’t exist? I challenge you to take a long hard look at what is going on in your head when sales are up and then when sales are down. I’ve never ever, ever, EVER seen someone who is totally and completely in love with their business and has no resistance to money, who doesn't EASILY generate sweet profits. They also get what they expect. Always. I have a long-term coaching client with no website and she doesn’t actively network, yet consistently generates multiple six-figures. She is a great example of how a business owner vibrationally markets. She LOVES what she does, takes great care of her customers and her pricing is congruent with the value she offers. Profits are not about being a savvy marketer. Physical marketing actually has nothing to do with it. As you focus intentionally on the joy of the dance with your clients and customers and stand tall in the pride of what you offer, your profits will soar! When you pay more attention to your vibrational marketing, all of your other marketing efforts will attract high-octane results. You’ll think, “WOW! This is the most fun I’ve ever had in my business!”.
