Visit the Beautiful Fraser Island

Fraser island national park is a World Heritage listed area that is located off the south central coast of Queensland, north of Brisbane in the Pacific Ocean. It is a picturesque and unique part location and the only place in the world where a tropical rainforest grows directly out of the sand. In fact, the aboriginal name for the area is K Gari, which aptly translates to Paradise. The region was founded by European settlers, hence the Anglo renaming. There are many attractions such as the MAHENO shipwreck, the wondrous rainforest and the world renowned Great Barrier Reef.
