Vulnerability - A Peace of the Divine

When was the last time you really let yourself be vulnerable? What do you associate vulnerability with? How often do you allow yourself to enter this sacred space?

Now, I was going to make a post about authenticity and abundance with the New Year coming in; however, I then realized that there will be not only an abundance of those posts, but that I have spoken a bit on that. However, what I have not addressed as much is the aspect or space of vulnerability. Then, I thought to myself how perfect is this; since it is vulnerability that is really our magickal key to the others.

So many people stray away from this space not realizing how sacred and wonderful it is there. We have been programmed to believe that it is a place of weakness and fear; yet it takes great strength to either choose to enter this space or to stand in it if you find yourself there. In reality it is the space where miracles are created and is actually one of the first steps to take when reaching authenticity and abundance.

The codes of Vulnerability are scary for many people; because it is not a space that you get to jump in and out of quickly. Vulnerability is a space that we sit in, which requires time and patience; much like baking something or waiting for a plant to grow. It is where we make the foundation solid, release what is holding us back, and become focused on what is real and lasting; which of course is not related to physical and material “stuff”, but is related to discovering our real self and essence. It is a door that opens us to explore all that we really love that extends beyond the physical realm and world. It is the space that we find, ironically, Peace. Where we get comfortable with ourselves without the bling.

One person, that has taken this journey and experienced this is Shefali Burns. Shefali found that even though she had so much in the physical world; that she still wasn’t happy, there was still an emptiness. She chose to enter into some very deep vulnerable spaces, and to do some big work on discovering who she really was and is.

I love having her as an example here; because, so many of us keep saying “if only I had this or that” “When I get ______ it will all be wonderful for me” “Once I have enough money, everything will be wonderful”. As you can see from these statements; many are looking for something else to give them what they already possess within themselves. However, as Shefali found out; it wasn’t out there, just because we have this or that doesn’t mean we will have what we are really looking for; or that we will be fulfilled once we have it.

In code interpretation, Vulnerability is all about harnessing our own personal power outside of the material world. It is about finding our true essence from within. As we do this we experience an authenticity and abundance that is so much more than anything money can buy. We experience Divine presence and connection. Our outer world reflects this enlightenment; and our abundance soars in the most amazing and wonderful ways. Money is only one piece of abundance, and a small one at that. Go for the whole thing, indulge yourself.
