Located in the north eastern part of the Pune, Wagholi has been witnessing rapid realty developments in recent times. Connectivity • Some of the major roads that provides good connectivity to this region include Wagholi Road, State Highways 27, SamratAshoka Road and Pune Nagar Road • For the intra-connectivity, the commuters can take Kesnand Road, Ivy Estate Road and Baif Road • The locality gets frequent buses operated by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation and Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd to reach the other parts of the country • The Hadapsar railway station is the nearest railway station which is located 10 km away from this locality. Also, Pune railway station is located just 15 away from this area • The Pune International Airport is located 10 km away from here, which can be reached through Wagholi Road • Nearby metro station in neighboring Kharadi, the locality enjoys good connectivity Infrastructure • The Pune BRTS project is currently on hold. The locality has two lines under this project • The project of Wagholi-Vishrantwadi line got completed but not operational yet. Also, there is a proposed line between Warje and Wagholi • Under the Pune Metro Project Phase 1, Line 2 between Vanaz and Ramwadi to be extended till Kharadi which is located 7 km from Wagholi • Proposed flyovers from EON IT Park and Shikapur is likely to enhance the connectivity in Wagholi • The locality possess good social infrastructure with the presence of many educational institutions, healthcare facilities, malls and restaurants. Apart from all these factors, proximity to IT hubs and affordability are some of the major reasons why the demand has increased for apartments in Wagholi. As the realty markets such as the IT hubs, Kharadi and Koregaon Park have reached its saturation point, Wagholi is attracting several property buyers. The current price of the residential flats in Wagholi ranges between INR 3800 to INR 5000 per sqft. Owing to the presence of many IT companies in the surroundings, the demand has been high for 1 bhk and 2 bhk flats in Wagholi among the working professionals.
